Yesterday I reminded myself what I believe is true. People like free things. The word Free attentions.

Among the parked pages that I have get very low hits and clicks (almost none.. ) Anyway, I added this word free in front of the other keywords in as many of my parked domains as possible, like mp3, music and games domains but possible for many other types of domains. Then, sedo puts in more "free ... " links and it is likely that the overall click rate will increase.

If this is so, it will be seen immediately.

Yes, it really would depend on the keyword here... Something like, say "movies" could probably do really well with "free movies". On the other hand, something like "information" probably wouldn't work out so well with "free information".

edit: Obviously some of the best uses for the word "free" would be adult ones inappropriate to be discussed here...

Not the CTR, the EPC. The CTR would actually likely go up, but for instance if you're advertising free poker vs. just poker, the difference in EPC would be huge as advertisers want the people that will gamble their wallet away, not people wanting to play for free.
