verb Audio Help /vษrb/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[vurb] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation,
โnoun
any member of a class of words that are formally distinguished in many languages, as in English by taking the past ending in -ed, that function as the main elements of predicates, that typically express action, state, or a relation between two things, and that (when inflected) may be inflected for tense, aspect, voice, mood, and to show agreement with their subject or object.
to me: the 2 terms have NO relationship at all.great domains are words that DO have direct relationship.
also to me: a verb is the definition of a word that is an action, but verb itself is NOT the action.
for example go,fly to me would be a much better match, and actually expressing an action.
even then,go and fly would suggest TRAVEL,something people do search for,but i don't of anyone seacrhing for the word VERB.
that again is my own opinion.
