Do we have any vegans at NamePros?

Anyone want to debate why they believe they have the right to enslave, manipulate, force, bully into submission, and send innocent gentle animals to a slaughterhouse full of uneducated employees that have a career in mass murder?

In a way, to live is to be selfish. You survive by eating plants, at the plants expense. That's selfish. There's no way of escaping it.

This seems to be presenting a confusing Catch-22 where you say you'd like to stop but only when everyone else does which you think won't happen because it would require a huge campaign that you don't have time to run?

No one is stopping you from stopping if you want to, sounds like the person you are are wrestling with at length is yourself. Would someone say I'll only stop smoking when everyone else does?

never said nor insinuated I want to stop.
I want animal cruelty to stop, just the same as cruelty to humans who pick vegetables and make our clothes and other things.

Do you suggest I don't eat anything animal based nor vegetables and walk around naked not using any products due to a high likelihood of someone or some animal being treated badly for me to have them?

Yes, I am aware of the inherent selfishness involved in being alive, including my own. But I don't feel guilty because one day something will get to eat me (bacteria, worms, maybe a lion if i'm unlucky ) and so it goes on.

Interesting, what is more selfish - cremation of body (bacterias and worms do not get their dinner, you pollute and warm atmosphere, but then do not catch any significant place) or just old fashion burying (happy bacterias and worms, but even after the full cadaver disposals you still catch (for generations !) 2 - 5 sq. meters, that might be used for growing cucumbers)

What about convenience, habit or expectations of friends and family. There are lots of reasons people eat meat. Some bad, some good.

If that was the reason, Frank would have said so. He enjoys eating meat. It's why he eats chicken and hamburgers.

That depends on why someone is vegetarian. I don't eat meat because it's filled with steroids and antibiotics.

So you eat stuff that's filled with pesticides and such.

humans have a very long colon
thats typical for plant eaters

meat eaters usually have very short colons

so the meat stays much longer in your colon
then it will in meat eating animals

there are many people having colon issues

but that may be coincidentely

Can you quote it, he didn't mention it in his first few responses, when he had plenty of time. I think some of you just can't admit you actually like the taste. If you didn't, you wouldn't have eaten it all the years before you became vegetarian. People tend to naturally like meat, unlike vegetables.

I am curious tho about natural taste. What are people's thoughts on that. Naturally most reject vegetables, it's one of the hardest types of foods to get kids to eat. Why is that? Could it be what the hippy said in the video earlier about fruits? I don't see too many rejecting meat, naturally.

if you repeat it

children don't reject vegetables

but if you can't cook
they naturally will reject stuff that doesn't taste well

its a matter of the parents been able to present a tasty meal or not
