I came across this news article titled, "Hideous new WASP named after evil Egyptian God of VIOLENCE and CHAOS"

It is described with language such as hideous and gruesome.

"Shocked scientist have discovered how the wasp parasitises another type of insect, slowly eating its way through the luckless creature's body before saving its most horrendous behaviour to fly wild."

Now this got me thinking about some human actions on Earth, notably factory farming (but not solely).

The heartless process that these humans are putting very kind and gentle animals through has many similarities to that of parasites:

Controlling the animal from birth to death, not allowing the animal to think or behave in it's natural way...

However, isn't it even worse than what the "hideous" wasp is doing? Since the wasp/parasite is completely taking over the brain, so the victim is practically brain dead. However, the animals being held in factory farms are still very much brain alive!

What does it say about humanity, the fact that 99.9% of farmed animals in the US (the "greatest nation on the planet") are factory farmed?

As an outsider (I guess I can call myself an outsider too as I am vegan), what would aliens make of this behaviour? Assuming they themselves do not actively force parasitic torture on innocent animals themselves!

What are your thoughts?
