What do people think about .info names when applied to mid-sized cities? For example, just to pick one out, what would you think of Austin.info? Obviously, Austin.com would be the greatest, but I'm sure very cost prohibitive. Wouldn't it be a great name for an informational site about a city? Wouldn't it be worth many thousands of dollars?

And how are info tld's doing in general, when applied to the right types of names?

City .info names are great -- intuitive, marketable and do very well in the aftermarket. Values reach into x,xxx - xx,xxx depending on the city.

i think really depends on what businesses, tourist attractions, colleges and etc. are in the city to what someone is willing to pay for it for instance cambridge, ma only has pop. of 100,000 but since harvard is there i bet you could get some loot for the .info

I think city .info names are good even if its a medium sized city or smaller city. I dont think citycountry.info is good though such as dohaqatar.info. It would need to either be doha.info or qatar.info to have high value.
