Valuation considering traffic: USD 9,786,200,000

I used estibot to check one of my domainnames and this was one of the results. The amount is so incredible high, that I start wondering what estibot means with:

Valuation considering traffic?

Can someone explain this for me?

Estibot looks at the Alexa rank of your site and attempts to predict a value based on that (and all the other criteria normally accounted for in the normal valuation).

From looking up my own names, I would say that Estibot is at least an order of magnitude (maybe 2) more accurate in estimating the value of the name alone, rather than the value attributed to the name + site in question.

I think you would know if you were sitting on a $10million domain

you would have to have a rank among Alexa's top 100 to have a valuation like that...I doubt you would come to Namepros if you had such a site.

Thanks, it was a fake alexa rank.... I knew something was wrong with that number
