I was just cruising around TDNAM and came across a name with these Estibot stats..

Check the domain in Alexa - as mentioned by Arnie it was probably used to point to another website.

I have one that Statbrain.com suggests it gets 11,031,750 visits per day

The Alexa Traffic Rank shows as - 48 in statbrain - If you check the domain in Alexa it shows that the rank was to do with another domain, Free.fr



I just checked in Estibot and it shows the following:

If you click on the ** next to the 67 it goes to a validation page.

Thanks Gazzip, I kind of figured it would be something too good to be true. Maybe my lucky windfall will come another day :hehe:

If by some chance someone is interested for whatever reason, the name is gocesar.com, it's in the TDNAM firesale section.

So it looks like that is the traffic rank of Homestead.com or gocesar.homestead.com - 1294

As far as I know it means that it was used to point to it, I may be wrong but I can assure you my domain (as expected) did'nt get many visitors.

hm, i've got stung with this too. a company with "brand name".com drops a keyword version of their name/ product.

loads of traffic before the drop, and when you get it it all stays with the brandable version.

loads of chinese / asian websites have similar stats thrown by estibot.....

they redirect a lot of expired domains to the said domain to increase artificially it's traffic.
