So, this may blatantly show how much of a newbie I am but compiling my list of companies to email about my domains and the majority have only fill-in forms as an email contact. Is it acceptable to use that to send my domain sale info? I have tried Clearbit on a couple websites and have not come up with a contact email, I have also looked on Whois but that lists the registrants email? I know it doesn't hurt to send out an email to that contact as well but not sure how to tell if it is the actual company that owns it (the email is not under their current website domain)...I read through the end user doc but didn't really see any spot where this type of question was addressed. TIA

I do it. I fill in the online forms on websites if I can't get any other info.

You can always go old school and send a printed letter by post, addressed to the owner, CEO or head of marketing by name.

Or you can also send the letter by fax. Or do both! :xf.grin:

There's usually a pretty short list of potential buyers of any given domain. It pays to do this right and deliver your message to the right person.

@silentptnrs that yielded any sales to date?

And thanks! I hadn't even thought of the snail mail, next stop was going to be calling each company as phone numbers are readily available
