It appears the domain industry has been starting to take notice of the .us namespace over the past year, read DnJournal.com .us growth and Namepros with even greater expectations for the year to come.

So I thought it would be a good idea to ask everyone to show us your .us domain names. You can post your favorites or your entire portfolio.

Just the other day I regged playball.us ...just liked it.

Anyway, one school of thought could be that price worries over .com and .org could be good for .us. These concerns could hypothetically accelerate interest in the US in it's own .us cctld.

Particularly because of its low, seemingly stable registration and renewal price

.US should try to capitalize.

Maybe @Bob Hawkes could do his magic and write about .us. :)

I sold CreditScore (us) back in the day.. Sometimes wish I had held onto it.

Itโ€™s hard to believe that after all these years that .US would finally take off though.

It would be nice to see it get some actual usage. I still like the way the short one word/two words look with .us.

For the first time I was looking at some .us names. I didn't know it required a US presence in order to buy.

I'm not in the US. How strict is this enforced?

Could a US resident register a name and then push it?

A lot of uptick in .us sales recently, I sold some a little too cheap, these are the sales since 3/15
Towel $1495 BIN at GD
Broom $500 offer at GD

I priced a variety of domains at $10 so you may think I am crazy but I did so on purpose as I am adjusting strategy in domains. Most of these were hand registered at Dynadot for under $3 and any interest in them has been minimal. I actually had a few in an auction with NR and $8 start a couple of times this last year with no bids. So this is where I learn to be more patient and focus on the value of the domain versus the current response of the market. I have been reading a book called Principles and the idea that mistakes are healthy, & needed as long as we learn from them seems applicable in this situation!
Brochures
OnlineSchools
VeggieBurger
AmericanBurger
OnlineIncome

I have also sold a few .coms this last week from $xx to $xxxx and as I sell in the $xx to $xxxx the last 2 weeks have been very good to me.

I don't see why .us doesn't have more attention and recognition and use in the US! The domains look good and sound good and therefore have intrinsic value even if they don't have widespread cultural use yet in America. I can't say the same about .biz which looks tacky for some reason. (sorry .biz fans)

US startups who long missed the .com opp should listen up! .Co looks like a typo for the uninitiated and technically stands for Columbia. Why use another country code's name when you can use the great .us of America!

*My 2 Cents Only!

I might make this my signature lol
