It appears the domain industry has been starting to take notice of the .us namespace over the past year, read DnJournal.com .us growth and Namepros with even greater expectations for the year to come.

So I thought it would be a good idea to ask everyone to show us your .us domain names. You can post your favorites or your entire portfolio.

But I wasn't thinking "lift" as "elevator," but was thinking how much I liked the hack "Lift us."
Ms Domainer, this is a great domain either way, "Lift" covers a big Industrial category, you might be able to find a few large Industrial Manufacturers that might be interested in a domain like this which in that case you might be able to get some good money for it.

PS: By the way your avatar could use a little faceLift, don't you think so. :)

Interesting day today at godaddy. Some nice 4 figure sales. I got a couple of really good deals (3 one word domains and a 4th with great CPC/search volume), but I would rather wait to reveal until the transactions close. I hope I didn't bid too many of you up.

Some went for a much higher $ than I thought they would/should.. Some great bargains were had, too. I ended up with a couple of bargains, but nothing to brag about, though. Like you, I won't mention them until the transactions close.

What is the best deal you guys are getting on the renewal fee for .us at GD? gdz532a gives 31% off. Is there anything better?

I won several domains on there today.

Some really good domains went for big prices, and some other prices left me scratching my head.

I figured you'd be in there Brad :) In fact I'm pretty sure I could name a couple of them that you won!

ebiz: Page3 is a TM of news corp. Be careful how you use it.

I'm glad that there was action on names like Bargains and ETF because A. those weren't names I was targeting so I didn't have to compete and B. it tells me that .us may be quiet of late, but it's still active when push comes to shove.

Got a few today, lost many :) It would have been nice if a few of those others that were there a week or so ago, weren't renewed, just to see how much they would have went for. Talking about autoinsurance, deals etc. I had early bids on those. Same person had a lot of nice .us domains.

If you have a lot of .us domains (like me), then the Discount Domain Club is the way to go, renewing at $7.29. Even not that many really, about 12 .us domains, it pays for itself.

I picked up bats.us. I wanted bargains.us but It went beyond what I thought it was worth.

Obviously Mr DotCrafter didn't let these expire by accident. Seems that one or two he renewed.

Of course - he may have had offers > $200 from someone via mail that made it worth his while to renew and sell on... not that I'm suggesting anyone do that and try and get these names cheaper or anything....

Just noticed the reg fee went down to $3.99 at GoDaddy. Nice.

Damn. Because = Exchange-Traded Fund, or something else.

I had a bunch of 3 letter .us and all the numbers under Watching but deleted them and just focused on some others. Should have left them up to see how much they all went for.

Yes, it was interesting to see etf sell that 'high'. There were other very nice LLL.us that sold for 10 times less :tu:

Not sure if this was reported but I checked out bido and it shows there were accepted offers on wine and teens from the past few months and lists the following as "closing prices":
Teens.us - $4500
Wine.us - $7000
Bankrupt.us sold for $3042 there as well.
Does anyone know if these sales actually went through?

Teens & Wine were actually 2010 auctions under the old Bido ownership.
