Urgent* Pushing in GoDaddy with only an email address

I just sold a domain name, and the buyer provided only an email address. I have heard this is possible, but how do I do it? I get errors for not filling out all of the form fields.

Just put placeholders in the rest of the fields, and they can update it once they receive the domain (only real info is the email is needed for the push)

At least that way you have a record of what transpired.

It's pretty common to enter dummy data besides the email for a quick push. Besides, you can verify transfer of the domain, and as long as you have the payment in hand you should be fine. For larger transactions, of course, you want full info, escrow and greater transparency.

yes, unless the purchaser wants to send something you can make up a name and address eg George Bush 1 Wall Street New York, NY.....but you will need a zip code that fits the state...once the name is pushed the new owner can enter correct data.............yes it is a little messy but it works....yes I know it is not as smooth as namecheap where you just need a user name to push, but that's GD for you....forever clunky just like Bob Parson's dress sense (Bob Guccione 1978) :lala:

Yes, I just used dummy info and pushed. The buyer hasn't been on namepros for several hours, I hope he got it!
