Has anyone used undeveloped.com to sell domains? They claim to be able to increase a domainers sales by 54%.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
GoDaddyGoDaddy
Some features I'd like to see
- Ability to upload a background image PER domain.
- Ability to send messages to people without having to accept, counter, reject offers first.
Also after reaching an agreement with buyer we should be able to send message to buyer. Simple "thank you and good luck with this domain" could bring additional value to the deal.

Hi guys, according to Google analytics ( which I have linked with undeveloped) I have a 100% bounce rate. Does that mean all my traffic is bots ?

Another domain sold via Undeveloped last week, I can only say a big thank you to their team for the patience, because after all the problems with GoDaddy push, the deal was closed and I got my money in a short time. At the moment they are my favourite platform... easy to use great support.

Special thanks for Simon

I have a suggestion.. when a domain is sold, and the landing page at undeveloped changes to say that its been sold, there is a list of other domains at the bottom of the page "Here are some domains that you may like".

However these are not domains from my own portfolio. It looks like these are similar domains to the one I sold but from other folks' portfolios, which is nice, sure...

It would be nice if we had the option to show the visitor other domains from our own portfolio if we choose to. Would this be a possibility in the future?

@Undeveloped

just wanted to confirm something..

if I agree to someones offer.. or he agrees to mine.. and then he pays... does the PAID icon light up as soon as he pays, or only after you verify payment?

and how is all above affected on weekends.. when I presume you do not process any payments.

Thank you for the feedback.

Hi Alcy,

Payments are processed instantly and are fully automated. Only some bank wires for bigger sales are handled manually and have a "human" delay. When the payment is actually captured you'll automatically get a notification of it.

We process payments 24/7, including at the weekends. We just don't deliver domains to buyers in the weekend, that's the only process that's halted on Saturdays and Sundays for security reasons (for now).

Kind regards,

Reza

so i was thinking today.. cause there are unpaid buyers here as we all know..

did any of you guys consider basically telling buyer in the negotiation window if he agrees to a price, that you will setup a bin price on the domain at your agreed price.. and tell him to go click buynow.. which would force them to pay instantly basically..

do any of you do this? do you think its a good way to get less unpaid buyers?

or thoughts from @Undeveloped

That's my own way doing it. It reduces unpaid buyers for me. I have mentioned it here before.

it could not work if the payment is made by wire, ACH, check...
But, I see that, when I setup a BIN price, every payments seems made instantly for cheap domains.

I tried Undeveloped.com for more than six months. 63 domains, thousands of impressions, zero leads. I'm now moving all of my domains elsewhere. I had zero success with this service, which is a shame because I like the way they do things (installment options, etc.).

I literally noticed few mins ago that this domain I sent as "buynow" lead... is not taken off market and listed as pending sale.. is this standard procedure for importing leads? that things are taken off market? if so then it shouldn't be so. can you fix it? I still want my name to be avaikble on market.. as importing leads is no guarantee of sale.

I would appreciate if you can change it asap. unless this whole thing is related to the error I listed above. if so thne plz fix also.

thanks!

@alcy,

It would help if you would provide the domain involved and notify us through support. As you might know, this forum is not the allocated place to submit inquiries especially when it is urgent. For future purposes, I would like to ask you to reach out to our support in order to get it solved promptly.

Regarding your inquiry, is the problem that the domain is taken off the market or that it isn't taken off the market? It is not becoming clear to me as your post includes both.

When importing leads the domain remains available for sale. When importing transactions and the buyer confirms his/her interest to purchase it the domain is held off the market as an agreement is reached.

Best regards,

thanks, first I stated there was an error message when I added lead.

then I stated that when I added the lead, the domain went off market, cause its sale lander said so.

and it is not because he bought it, cause i never got a purchase notification or sale email. unless for lead imports those sale emails work diferent too.

so I will conclude the fact it was taken off market is related to the error msg somehow.

I think its all part of public knowledge to be aware of how import leads work, so I decided to post it here.. but if you say this needs more investigation then I'll email you the name now

thanks!

@alcy

Just made sure to check this for you and the conclusion that it was related to the error message received is wrong.

As stated in my previous message there is a clear distinction between importing a lead or importing a transaction. In this case, you have imported a transaction with a BIN. The buyer receives an email asking to confirm their interest and agreeing with the transaction. Since your buyer clicked in the confirmation link the transaction is moved in a so-called "agreement reached" stage and the buyer is granted a payment link. The domain is marked as sold as your imported buyer confirmed purchasing the domain.

You can always post anything you ought important to make public. However, in this case, mention is made by you which makes it look like the lead importer is broken while in fact, everything is working as expected. You only selected the wrong importer value for your customer which should have been lead instead of a transaction. If you would have submitted this through our support we could have cleared it up instantly.

Have a great day!
