Wasn't Namecoin the "first" blockchain involved with domains?

Namecoin was a blockchain substitute for the centralized DNS system that is used nowadays. That has nothing to do with whatever Undeveloped is coming up with.

We're not using Ethereums network or any other network and have actually built our own blockchain and smart contracts based on Hyperledger Fabric.

Our blockchain is one of a kind and specifically designed to help us automate 95% of all processes that currently are manual or semi-manual.

IBM is currently creating a case study out of our blockchain due it's unique nature and potential. So we're not the only ones that are so excited about the Domain Automation Network .

@Undeveloped how is this project going? Do you have any updates?

It's going great. We're a bit delayed but that's mostly caused due to unforseen complexity that we bumped into with regulations (GDPR doesn't allow any personal info to be stored on the blockchain for example) and integration of the network within Undeveloped's existing codebase.

We're gradually improving the network and its capabilities in the coming months. Check out our blog posts (blog.undeveloped.com) to get an impression on which new features we can launch now that we have the blockchain enhanced capabilities.

Very cool new models and features will be launched exclusively at Undeveloped in the coming months so keep a close eye on what we're up to!

The first product launch powered by blockchain will be automated / semi-automated escrow (depends on the extension and if your domain has a transfer lock or not) which I expect goes live in November/December.
