Has anyone used undeveloped.com to sell domains? They claim to be able to increase a domainers sales by 54%.

There's quite some activity in this thread, even I miss messages sometimes.
Some payment options aren't instant (Bankwire & Sepa or direct debit for example) which makes that model a bit hard to implement. Also, when a buyer places a bid and you accept it but they read their email 12-24 or 36 hours later, this only would add additional friction. Buyers would then contact us, request if the sale can go through after all or complain that they've already paid via bank wire but the transaction isn't active anymore etc.
What we've been thinking about and want to test soon is to add the option for sellers to auto-cancel a transaction if the buyer doesn't pay in a specified timeframe (3-7-14 days). We'll then make this condition extremely clear to the buyer.
One reason why I'm personally not that keen to introduce features like the above is that we have data that proofs that the above will hurt sales and your bottom line. So the dilemma we have is that the feature will make sellers happy but effectively also make sure you'll generate less revenue in the end.
@Undeveloped It has been a couple of days and I have not been getting response for my questions at UD, which I asked in a conversation window of a negotiated deal - while waiting for the payment. So I will ask it here as others may find it helpful too. Sorry if this was already asked earlier - not gonna read back 70 pages.
The only thing more disappointing when a fake buyer bails on a negotiated deal is probably not getting a response from your own service provider.
- Is there a limit to the number of times reminders are sent to such possibly deserted lead ?
- At what interval are these reminders sent ?
- How long do you guys recommend a seller to wait before you are sure that it is a fake inquiry so that the name can be switched back for sale ?
In my case, I have unchecked on the sold button, since I wanted this domain to be back on the market as soon as possible. It been 7 days since the agreement was reached and it is possible that I could be missing other leads.

In case someone needs the data for any sort of analysis - The domain is a two-keywords brandable, the agreed amount was $700 and the "buyer" is from canada.
Just did that twice recently. Very nice feature to put a domain back out there for a real buyer. Both times the "buyer" never came back to complain because obviously they were not serious.undev has feture to let you unmark as sold any sale.. at any point after sale happens.. so wenrever I see sales that I suspect will not complete (often u can tell) I unmark it right away as sold (click edit after you are in domain settingS).
I visited some of my names and checked in real time. Nothing is showing. Even undeveloped visit has not increased on those names@Haykay2005 How are you so sure it's stopped working? It's possible that GA or Undeveloped have updated the bots detection. I've been tweaking and updating my filters to rid some that still get through.
You can always try opening an Incognito/Private window and visiting one of your domains and watching in GA Real time to see if it sees it.
All I know is I didn't alter anything . The visits suddenly stopped about 8 hours agoAnother thing you can try is change the Default URL in the Property column setting (in Admin) to one of your domains and then use the Tracking Info > Tracking Code option to send Test traffic and see if it shows.
... or post one here and we can visit.![]()

No solution for now. Still no traffic count . Something is wrong somewhereIt's happened to me as well, dried up completely the last 12-24 hours. Glad I'm not the only one facing this issue, obviously a hickup somewhere.
Haven't figured out anything, have you?
For more expensive domains that are up for negotiations It's best to require a nonrefundable deposit of lets say $100 upon the end of negotiations and then give the buyer ample time (like up to 14 days) to make the payment, and for less expensive domains like the ones that are priced $500 or less the buyer should be required to make instant payment upon purchase. End users are a rare group and if they happen to come your way as potential buyer they should be dealt with appreciation and respect, for most people here it's not like people are lined up to buy their domains and that they are going to miss out on a sale if they gave the buyer a little more time to make the payment. IMO

Yes. Everything works fine now. Thank youHi Haykay,
Thank you for raising this issue.
Yesterday we rolled out some changes indeed to improve our backend which caused an issue. The GA javascript that we generate was flagged as unsafe by our system and so was blocked. We've fixed the problem first thing this morning after I read your post here on Namepros.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
Kind regards,
Reza
Did you try?@Undeveloped you service has been incredibly slow lately.
Also I still would like the option to cancel it's not fair that I cannot cancel
Canceling non payers helps!
Give us some control please!
I accidentally accepted a offer and I cant cancel this is terrible. Theres nothing I can do but wait hours for support.

as far as I am concerned this is the ultimate in seller control .. and something you can only dream of having at say sedo or gd... where they want to contriol everything.. and imo with this feature, its pointless to try to implement or discuss any further imrpovvements on the unpaid system. jmo
