Transferring domain from Namecheap.com

Hi All,
I am new to here. I am planning to buy .in domain from Namecheap. Can I transfer after first year from them. The starting price is less with them.

Any hidden conditions?

The best prices for dot IN at mainstream registrars are
Epik - $6.95 register/renew/transfer
Dynadot - $6.99 register/renew/transfer

The namecheap UI is horrible, although if you are just getting a better first year price, then you trade the annoyance for saving money. You will be able to transfer newly registered domains after only 60 days without penalty. Also be aware to opt out of domain lock if you make a change to the whois contact info.

This rule is NOT used for ccTLDs at all.

But probably - only for new customers (so-called "Welcome Offer")...

The transfer out process from Namecheap should be smooth. You don't need to wait the full year. You can transfer anytime after 60 day ICANN limit, and normally when you transfer the amount that it is already registered will go with the domain (I don't hold any .in domains, so there may be rules etc. I don't know about).

I have many domains at Namecheap and have found the transfer in/out smooth.
