You need to call them.

under the ICANN agreement they are obligated to provide you with the codes within 5 days of you sending a written request from the address on your account. contact them with the request and quote this to them.

"5. EPP - based Registry Requirements for Registrars

In EPP-based gTLD Registries, Registrars must follow the requirements set forth below.

Registrars must provide the Registered Name Holder with the unique "AuthInfo" code within five (5) calendar days of the Registered Name Holder's initial request if the Registrar does not provide facilities for the Registered Name Holder to generate and manage their own unique "AuthInfo" code."

Have you managed to get the auth code now? Coz I also faced the same problem. I was so panic as the domain will expire in Next month.

I tried to call them by using the phone number provided in the account, but the phone cannot get through at all. Always the busy tone.

Then I sent an email to them to explained to them the problem I have be faced, the reply is :

Thank you for contacting Register.com regarding the authorization code for your domain names.

Note to self, don't register any domains at register.com. That's kind of crappy that they make you call for the auth. code. Every place I have ever used has provided the code online. kind of inconvenient don't ya think

I wonder they are force the domain owner to renew at their side with the expenses renewal price. USD$35-00 if I'm not mistaken.

I have a few there because they were backorderd at snap, and I guess it's the same reason why Gazzip has domains with register too. Other than that, yes they are as expensive as netsol...

Yeah, these were all snap drops, I have at least a dozen or so at NetSol too that are all going to be transfered out this year....$35 is waaay too much to pay when the vast majority of other registers charge $ 8 (ish)

Their loss !

You don't have to call them - they will email auth codes. The first time you ask they tell you to call them - you then send an angry reply saying you don't want to pay for an international phone call and then they'll email you the codes. I've done this a few times but it's a hassle - transfer them out ASAP :)

Thank you. I will give it a try also. In fact, after this I will send them an email now.
