I might be a little dumb here..,

But is there an easier way to transfer a domain from one Godaddy account to another, or do I have to go through the normal procedure of 'Initiate Account Change' and fill in all the name, address, phone and email data..?

Thanks

Yes push domain to another account easier way to transfer ..

If you wanna push a domain from your GoDaddy account just go to " account change " and fill in all..

I've made deals with people who simply needed my email address to push it to me and all my details were already filled in - does anyone know how to do this (I think this is also what the OP is hinting at...)

Yes, Godaddy pushes are done by email account.
So, you can fill in garbage for the other fields as long as the email address is the one that's on file with Godaddy.

It would be nice if their pushes were as simple, as say, Namecheap or Dotster.

Now now, you don't want to do that :|
It has been discussed Godaddy deletes/suspends domains with false whois information. :td:

i thought they deleted it only if it was bad info because they could NOT contact you to send you the renewal notice? i have never had anything deleted doing this in a transfer- and i always use the correct email

I do it smashfactory's way all the time. Just instruct the new owner to update their whois. Or, if it's an incoming domain, just update the whois when it's received

I have had two accounts with the same email at gd, the push between them still works.
