Hi all

I am selling a name to a buyer. My name is registered with Netfirm, and buyer requested to transfer to Godaddy.

I received the fund and I and buyer are about to transfer the name.

So, where can we get the transaction ID and security code? Will buyer receice that info, or i, the seller, receive?

Btw, I already sent buyer the auth code.

thank you for ur info

You would get the TransactionID and Security code,.Which you should pass it to buyer. He will enter it in Godaddy.

Please check the domain is unlocked. Buyer may not start the transfer yet.

Buyer order a domain transfer at Godaddy.com using the domain authorization code (found in the netfirms pannel). Domain must be Unlocked. Godaddy send an email (transaction codes) to the current domain owner (whois email of the domain). The buyer will need these codes to complete the transfer at godaddy.

@dotbay is correct. GoDaddy will send transaction codes to the current owners address in the whois. They will not give them to the buyer. It's up to the owner to send them to the buyer. You should ask the buyer to ask GoDaddy to resend the transaction codes to you. You might also check your spam folder for the GoDaddy email (as a long shot).

CMIIW, transfer also has price, isn't it? Who pays the price by the way? Is it your buyer?
