Thanks in advance to anyone that answers these questions. Im using x's for the name to keep it confidential.
Question 1. I own xxxxxx.casino. xxxxxx is trademarked by a company in the food industry. They do not use xxxxxx.com or xxxxxx.anything as far as i know. Does the .casino extension separate the industries enough to where im not infringing on their trademark rights? i do not plan to sell the domain to them or redirect anything on the domain to anything, or affect their business in any way.
Question 2. If it does violate the trademark rights, am I able to get permission from them to use it?
Question 3. There is a dead trademark for xxxxxxcasino, dead since 2016. They make downloadable casino games. They still sell their product. Technically my domain is xxxxxx.casino, not xxxxxxcasino. the question is does the TLD/gLTD copy their name even though the .casino is not part of the brand name? I hope that makes sense.
Question 4. If another domainer is selling a domain and I have that domain but plural (ex. dogs.com vs dog.com) do any of the domainers have unregistered trademark rights? Im assuming no because neither have intent on actually using it besides resale.
Thanks to anyone that takes the time to answer!!!
