.tv Top 10 .TV & TV Domain Sales (Last 3 Months)

Its great seeing all the nice .TV sales posts, especially in the last three months when the volume of sales, and the amounts they sold for, has been higher than average.

I'm into all TV domains, and its easy to get a skewed market view from just reading .TV sales posts, so I took a look at the Top 10 .TV Domain Sales and the Top Ten TV Domain Name sales in the last three months.​

I like what I see in both categories, as I think the last three months have been the best three months of sales in the TV domain name market.

Most interesting, the .TV list is dominated by 2, 3 and 4 letter "premiums", vs (essentially) a list of standard reg tv.coms, with only one 4 letter domain... yet the "defensive reg" more than held its own.​

Well Claude I am with you on being interested in all tv names. DCTV.com sold for $5000 last week and I think they got the .org DCTV.org for $1000. Like seeing that as I own plenty of LLtv.net/.org.

It would be nice to see some of those other TV domain sales here in the forum.

Attracting people interested in TV domain names in general, as opposed to just "the extension", would benefit members, the marketplace and the (TV web) ecosystem overall, IMO.

Looking at the top 20 TV domain sales in the last quarter clearly shows the .TV forums are missing half the market, in trade and networking.

The TV name-brand is not a product of a single extension. Perhaps some outreach and re-branding should be considered.​

Excellent research Claude.

I agree that TV/web as a tool/brand needs to be marketed as such, and not just the Dot TV tld because TV and the Web are becoming more and more synonymous as technology morphs the 2 together as quickly as they are.

I have personally talk to both owners and buyers of .tv sales in the last couple of months that have sold names for $XXX,XXX but were NDA.

Also, I think the best name on this list by far is Viajar.tv (Travel in Spanish)

Thanks for the list. I was just thinking about this.
I sold a .tv for 1k a few months back and just picked up the keywordTV.com on a backorder. It will be interesting to see how the .tv and keywordtv.com sales compare for the same term.
