Dot .tv is heating up and more .tv names getting sold or auctioned, like med.tv now on Sedo.
IMO there is a need for an easy tool to check registered premium prices.
This will have two main advantages:
1. No confusion anymore.
Potential buyers can be certain of the renewal fees, I have send messages to sellers on Sedo asking about the renewal price before. If a great name has a non-premium price you are still a little bit wondering if the seller is correct. With a price check tool anyone can be sure.
2. More offers on .tv names.
If buyers can be sure of the renewal fee, they will make more bids. I have not bid on at least two .tv names at Sedo as I was not sure of the renewal fee and I didn't want to end up buying a name and dropping it later on as the renewal fee was too high.
If anyone from Demand Media reads this (Hi Quinn Daly!), I think many here would appreciate if you can take this into consideration
John.
