Time to invest .xyz

After google decision is it worth investing in xyz extension? Will it's value increase?

To me, .XYZ is in the top five of coolest NewGTLDs.

Aesthetically speaking, XYZ does absolutely nothing for me (negative or positive) to get me excited about it.
Ergonomically speaking, XYZ is probably one of the worst series of letters to date.
On a (physical) keyboard (by design), Z and X are relegated to the lower left hand side because they are the least used letters and subsequently the most difficult to reach when typing.
On a (screen) keyboard, they are still more difficult to get to (depending on your typing style).

Now I agree with you that .OOO sucks *BUT* they did put some thought process into the ergonomics of the letter choice. They stated that they chose the letter "O" for two reasons.
1) Most people in India (where this extension is being marketed) utilize handheld devices to use the net (i.e. phones).
2) Most people are right handed and ergonomically, their finger falls into the "O" spot on the (screen) keyboard. I am just saying that at least there was a bit of thought process that went into the choice of letters but without marketing to the world... the extension is fairly useless.

I am a believer in nTLDs. It is my opinion that we are likely not to see any one singular extension rise above the rest but rather most of them equally rise to be utilized in the common threads of life.

I would probably be more excited about XYZ had the registry not kept the premium names for themselves and not participated in apparent manipulation/fraud in their opening marketing campaigns.

.com isn't especially ergonomic or aesthetically pleasing it's just what we're used to and xyz is easier to type than .com.

I am not sure where you got that part from. The design of the keyboard was laid out in such a way that the most commonly used letters are placed in the most easily accessible areas of the keyboard.
The least used (Z,X,Q,) being placed strategically in the areas that are "deemed" the most difficult to access.
They laid it out for you in typing class some 30+ years ago... kind of interesting the amount of thought that went into the placement of keys on (at that time) typewriters and now carried over to keyboards.

.COM on the other hand is:
1) the first (so to speak) of the extensions used for public use.
2) is actually considered easy/moderate in typing standards with 2 of the letters (C and M) being associated with your two index fingers.
As far as aesthetically pleasing... I agree that .COM is what we are used to. It does nothing for me one way or the other (outside of being what I am used to looking at).

But to answer your question... CM would be the easiest to type. The "O" and a physical keyboard is associated with the right ring finger is relegated to being one of the lesser desirable letters to type.

I managed to get a 4 letter xyz of a word, a dictionary word, and apparently it's already on sedo, but I registered it. There is no history of it on "udrpsearch", and it seems the company (a well known one) has bought several different names of this exact name with other extensions on sedo before! So keep looking, you will find gems!

What you didn't know is that the premium auctions are opening back up December 1st. anybody who says XYZ is the worst is just another non believer as was such with .com. Millions of business's are created each year and with the amount of .com registered; you can only foresee a Tld that is overpopulated much like a country, wouldn't you think ? Now is a time for a new land; one that Verasign is afraid of and admitted to their fear... XYZ is the opportunity for the same people who took the their blood and guts and invested in .com ...

as for Diamonds.Moe it would be ideal for selling Engagement rings and or rough diamonds directly from the mine i mainly deal with all other stones since diamonds are inflated in realistic prices
Diamonds Sell for $10,000 Per Carat thats Retail the realistic number that diamonds should be sold for is $200 per carat
I like the domain name it would appeal to a jeweller with the name Moe :P as for offers i couldnt offer you no where near what its worth and dont want to insult you but i must say its a great name
