Three of my domains blacklisted for spamming!

It appears that three domains I bought recently are on the www.surbl.org / http://www.rulesemporium.com/ websites. The sites are involved in distributing lists of domain names used for spamming. This means that the domains I bought were being used by spammers before I purchased them and are currently blacklisted.

I have tried to write to the people at surbl.org, but so far not received a reply.

Anyone here successfully removed a domain from the surbl blacklist?

Awhile back, a domain I owned was blacklisted. It took a while, but after requesting the blacklist status be lifted, it was eventually removed.

Are these names parked or developed ?
If you got expired names sometimes they have a dubious history...
In the case of hosted domains the problem is that most often on shared hosting you share the same IP address with other people - so if one of your neighbors spams the IP is blacklisted and the other clients are affected as a result. One good reason for having your own IP addresses :tu:

They are pointed to another website I own.

Only bought them in October 07, so it this is all due to the previous owner.
