Bought the domain YOAL.com today from a member on here @ZeDiM , paid via paypal and domain not delivered. Think he is trying to sell the domain to other on here! Sent numerous messages to management but don't think they are bothered as nothing has been done!

Now the member is posting numerous negative feedback for me!

I don't mind losing my money, just don't want other to get sucked in!

left me negative trade reviews
Removed.

disable older accounts whom didn't post or became online for a while, true membership owners can contact with you for enabling them.
Any account, including new accounts, can make the mistake of using the same login credentials on other websites.

The only solution is awareness, and this person is bringing a lot of awareness to members with poor security hygiene. Bravo on that.

For everyone else, there’s nothing to worry about. The attacker is only capable of going through combo lists, which are finite and will end: Learn more.

yes, he's been coming up with excuses one after another! Funny enough, another member on here posted positive feedback for him this morning just before he listed it for sale! Connected? Seems a bit suspicious to me!

It's simple: Seller claims for paypal FF or crypto, instantly activates defensive alarms. I have lost at past $80 with those scammers. Lesson learnt, i win the auction and always ask them to transfer the domain first.

First time for me even after all these years domaining! Nevermind, member still active!

Management on holiday I think!

We should have to upload our passport and id to participate in this community imo....plus live picture if required, makes it safe for domainers as that's what the forum is about right?

IMO this is a problem that payment processors should handle, not public forums such as NP. They are way better equipped, but they just aren't held accountable (yet).

How about people stop waiting for everyone to handle everything for them and instead use some tried and tested methods to protect themselves?

This is obvious, isn't it?

Wow it's coming in all directions now

As long as we don't buy anything we should be good
But if we really have to buy a name, we should pay with a reputable escrow only

Good day, any of you knows about ---?
It has been exactly 1 week since I paid through PayPal, he had not delivered yet, and stopped responding to my messages.

Disregard this post for now, the guy had replied to our conversation after my post here and offered a refund. The reason is excusable so I hoped it's real.

No, just a regular payment.
I trusted the guy because of his 3 good trade reviews.

I just think there should be some delay between creating a new account and listing domains for sale. I’m sure it would cut out some of the scammers. Even 24 hours would help.
Or more because the phenomenon has become heavy and dangerous now.

This is very bad, and so many were fighting to get scammed to.

I got robbed by a member on here from the domain Txeo.com in other words, I won the name, it got robbed by some member that DM'ed the seller. The member that robbed the name has over 10k names, they should've known better and maybe one day ill see what my legal options are. In the meantime if anyone comes across this by googling txeo.com just know the risks before buying it.

Thank you for sharing that personal story.

As a four letter .com only 456,976 exist.

If their value goes up, i hope you pursue.
@Rob Monster does this count to add to DNProtect.com? Sometimes numbers lie.

As far as i’m concerned;
txeo.com and yoal.com deserve 0 score.

New members, this is why you are looked as Kryptonite. Seller, who did OP, ruined for you.
New members, joining this forum best decision, but post introduce yourself! Most imoortantly; buy domains (they can be cheap!) to earn cred.

Seller who scam made an account Wednesday
