1. Asking for too much money (and scaring away buyers).

2. Asking for too little money (and losing valuable domains cheaply).

Just avoid those two and you will do well! :)

Not researching a) the value of the domain you are selling, and b) the buyer.

I once gave a domain to somebody before I was paid.

Big Mistake!

Not keeping track of foreign exchange rates if you deal in multiple currencies. Caused me to recently lose $50 on a name I sold for $130 more than I paid for it.

Selling domains to a reseller rather then an end user... end user sells are where the $ at.

Selling because you need the money.
Don't sacrifice a quality name because you're broke. You'll be sorry!

Made me smile this one. Although of course quoting in GBP Sterling helps because the price looks a lot lower, they only get a heart attack when they convert into any form of dollars.

For those of you that are unaware, the conversion is that 1 pound equals about 2 US dollars give or take.
