Hello All,

I would like your opinion on the value of DICTIONARY ONE WORD hyphenated .com's. I stressed one word here because several dictionary words are hyphenated and I am particularly interested in the value of hyphenated ONE WORD DICTIONARY .com's as opposed to hyphenated .com's that combine two or more words, which are generally of a much lesser value due to the hyphen.

So what are your opinions on HYPHENATED, DICTIONARY ONE WORD .com's?

Examples would be: co-captain.com or co-ed.com, which are DICTIONARY .com's that include a hyphen.

Thanks!

co-ed.com would be worth some money, but I don't see co-captain.com going for much. The difficultly with hyphened words is that you will potentially lose a lot of traffic to people typing in coed.com or cocaptain.com.

Thanks, fonz. Once again, a very insightful answer! (Ill see if I can add Rep for you by now??). The reason I asked is I do own several of these (can't remeber if co-ed is one of them-LOL--Id have to look at my portfolio and I cant do that right now.) But I would think, in these types of domains, people WOULD more likely use the hyphen since the actual words ARE hyphenated and if this would give this category of .coms more value than other multi-word non-dictionary hyphenated domains.
