I didn't follow what others said, but l let me comment on it. Is US economy bad?There is lots of manipulation, so it can look good when it is not and vice versa. Some hidden hands control money flow, and politics. medicine and the rest. Both democrats and republicans were serving the same agenda. Both hate Trump. Trump represents another power system, but has ties with the old system. There is some fight and obedience,.. which you can call wrestling. We don't know exactly at which stage we are. After dust settles we may know everyone's real intentions.


There is a problem for puppetmasters, that China is not a puppet and instead is a superpower. It is not another Japan or Germany or South Korea. And is strategic ally of the number one military power. They force US to change, US changes, hopefuly in a positive way. There will be some pain, but hopefully no chaos anywhere. Do we know how rich or poor US is? We know that not much industry left, but we don't know how much money US has except for paper stuff.

We do have a lot of debt and are currently spending a lot more than we take in in taxes...

As of the end of last year, US had over 20 trillion in debt, with China being our biggest foreign lender.
Federal deficit is on the increase due to the tax cuts, etc. It's expected to be a little under 800 billion for this year, and CBO projects it to hit 1 trillion (and 4.6% of our GDP) in 2020.

But I'm sure there are more definitive and detailed answers out there!
