1812?

BTW, Canadians brag about it.
"Uber big paint brush"..

Haven't heard a Canadian talk about 1812 (which happened 200 hundred + years ago)..as long as I came remember!!

Willing to bet...normal, average Canadians really don't give a crap about 1812!

BTW, I talk to actual Canadians!

Law enforcement is rather aggressive in the US, I think part of the problem is that when you have elected judges and sheriffs, they have no incentive to be lenient, they don't want to be perceived as being soft on crime.

It’s better to be passive agressive like the UK, I know. Like how the UK police were instructed by such upstanding model citizen officials to arrest Tommy Robinson, because he was a huge criminal threat. Meanwhile, the cartoon judges wearing ridiculous funny looking stupid 18th century hair wigs calling the shots. They were more interested in protecting their own reputations of adverse world publicity of being lenient on Rapists and the rights of the criminals on trial. Yeah, I know.

Or how about the great way the Spanish police handled Catalan voters? Beating up people trying to vote.

Can't take a joke eh?

The hand wringing every time President Trump says something perceived as inappropriate by people who don't like him is amazing.

The image that reminds us all of those 2 brave men in blue defending themselves against that vicious attack from that beech in the beach... I wonder how much sand she swallowed? I'm on her side in this incident... They created the confusion on a peacefull beach on a national holiday on someone who complied with, NOT once, but on two breatherlizer tests... both negative.

At that point if they had any humanity or knowledge on how to treat people with the minimum of decency, they would have walked away and go look for real criminals elsewhere, but no, they had to show their power. They had to prove they are like Gods.

If that was a black woman being punched and those people at the beach were mostly blacks, they (the people) would have surrounded the police and would have come to her defence. Since they are all whites, they are too afraid to contest the cops.

Lets not forget that there are many bad apples in the police force, so why defend the bad apples?

I still respect the vast majority of the men in blue, but these two bullies, don't deserve to be wearing that uniform...

The hand wringing every time President Trump says something perceived as inappropriate by people who don't like him is amazing.

The problem is that he’s constantly saying wildly inappropriate things. Not peoples’ reactions. Maybe we’re spoiled, but we expect better from those who hold that office.

How long are we going to discuss that one cop incident? And did anybody notice where I told you those guys were TEMPORARY CLASS 2 officers, not regular members of the force? The’re hired to fill seasonal need and don’t have the same degree of training or experience. This makes it apparent how much of a problem that is.

Yet when cops kill an unarmed person of color I don’t see much discussion of that here...

I'll admit, this might have been worse than when POTUS had an extra scoop of ice cream or put ketchup on his steak.

Appearance he was addicted to making sure the meal fund made a profit for himself rather than just sweep extra money into the sheriff fund

It’s apparent from all the sheep analogies that you guys have never worked sheep in your life, or tried to get a pissed off 200 lb ewe to move. And nothing creepier than walking up to the field and have hundreds of those freaky looking square pupils turn and stare at you.
Well, this shepherd makes a living out of working with sheep, but one day he met up with a POS (Pissed off Sheep)

More than an appearance, good riddance. I wonder how many other states have a law like that.

That’s the kind I was talking about. I was taking herding lessons for a while at a local sheep farm. Some of them will go after dogs too. I never saw one go after a person (though they can easily knock you down if you’re in the wrong place when they’re moving) but I’ve seen them face down dogs. Or stick their heads through the fence and flat out refuse to move. Sometimes one or two will split off from the herd and make a run for it. They’re not as meek, mild mannered and compliant as the stereotype.
