I linked to Snopes, explaining it after my comment. Are you going to need a couple of more pages to explain it to you? You really have some OCD type stuff going on.

He’s the one who said he doesn’t need to prepare. Has he or hasn't he? What advisors has he met with? What data has he reviewed? We don’t know, but intellectual depth doesn’t seem to be his forte. Self confidence and attitude aren’t a bad thing and he’s got more than enough of that, but it’s no substitute for actually knowing what you’re talking about inside and out. i hope he really did study for this and isn’t just planning to go in and wing it.

I am surprised every time I come by to see what it has become, still nowhere near "The Everyone's Welcome Thread" but still pretty impressive thanks to all of you guys

About a year and a half ago "The Everyone's Welcome Thread" used to have over 4 times more posts than this one. Now it has about 2.5 more, so this one is catching up. By the next elections (after Trump wins again), I'm convinced they will be both neck and neck...

Thing is, police don't prevent crime - they respond to it (and occasionally create it). Societal values prevent crime, and the USA is pretty degraded on that point. I don't see any turn around as long as violence continues to be glorified, and as long as money and fame are promoted as the top 2 things to achieve in life, and as long as drug abuse (prescribed or otherwise) remains rampant.
