Nobody of The Presidents employees were indicted were for anything violent, drug or gun related, all were non violent white collar crimes.

Nobody “barged in.” Warrants were obtained legally, and warrants for a lawyer are subject to a higher degree of scrutiny that others. More criteria need to be met to get a warrant on a lawyer because of the atty client relationship.

Cohen has been acting like a mob lawyer for a long time. He basically admitted wrongdoing in the Daniels situation, so whether his account was the truth or not it was looking like he would at least be chastised by the bar on an ethics violation. If they were able to get a warrant, there’s more.

And that’s what this is about - his conduct related to the Daniels issue. Did he lie to the bank to get a home equity loan which he used to pay her off? That’s a felony.

Do you think lawyers should get a free pass for their misdeeds because of who they work for?

As for "privileged information", read up on the crime-fraud exception to client attorney privilege. Also read up on what the criteria are for getting a warrant on a lawyer.
