From Obama's fist administration:

Cass Sunstein - Think animals should be able to bring law suites against people. Supports the "Fairness Doctrine".. you know, the one that lets the Gov regulate cable news.

Climate Czar Todd Stern the nutcase behind the Cap and Trade proposal

Science Czar John Holdren Here's a real nut.

  • Supports “laws requiring compulsory abortion,
  • Government confiscation of new born babies
  • Long-term sterilizing capsule that could be implanted under the skin
  • Adding a sterilant to drinking water or stable foods”

Communism looks like a paradise to the dystopian world these numb nuts had planned.

Chief Diversity Officer, Federal Communications Commission – Mark Lloyd
mark-lloyd.jpg

While Obama is playing coy with his plans to shut down conservative talk radio, we know what his real intentions are, due to his appointment of Mark Lloyd. Lloyd’s view of the 1st Amendment is shocking:

“It should be clear by now that my focus here is not freedom of speech or the press.

This freedom is all too often an exaggeration. At the very least, blind references

to freedom of speech or the press serve as a distraction from the critical examination

of other communications policies. “[T]he purpose of free speech is warped to protect

global corporations and block rules that would promote democratic governance.”

---

Go on and complain about the business men Trump has picked. Whine about how Trump wants to destroy the press.

I'll just smile and chuckle a little bit more.

Exactly. We survived eight years of progressive nuttery.. you'll thrive for the next four years of adult governance.

I could point out context, the stuff you're leaving out, that kind of thing, but it would be lost. Yes, we really survived "Government confiscation of new born babies"

So many babies stolen under Obama.

Your sarcastic b/c you can't defend the people BHO hired to run the Gov his first four years in office.

Barack Spent 13 Trillion Dollars and it took eight years to reach 2% growth.

Obama's Big Sellout: The President has Packed His Economic Team with Wall Street Insiders
The president has packed his economic team with Wall Street insiders intent on turning the bailout into an all-out giveaway

Back to real stuff.

Rex Tillerson’s Company, Exxon, Has Billions at Stake Over Sanctions on Russia

"Now that President-elect Donald J. Trump has chosen Rex W. Tillerson, the chief executive of Exxon Mobil, to be the next secretary of state, the giant oil company stands to make some major gains as well: It has billions of dollars in deals that can go forward only if the United States lifts sanctions against Russia."

If you ever wondered why these CEO's all of a sudden decided to get government jobs, to enrich themselves/their companies.

Thanks Obama.
Or Congress ? I doubt the Potus makes the law. Anyway. No worries, Donald will fix this anyway.

Where are the 5am tweets decrying the massacre of civilians in Aleppo?

(Oh. Ri-i-ight.)

My problem with Tillerson isn't that he's a businessman, but that this is yet another sign of a major shift in our foreign policy towards alignment with a country that actively seeks to undermine democracy in the West. Specifically, by meddling in this country during the recent elections.

The PE has not taken office yet, so unless you're a psychic or a time traveler, all predictions of what will happen after January 20 are just that. There is no "right" or "wrong", "true" or "false" - BOTH sides of those speculations are just opinion for now . I personally dont like where I see this going, obviously some of you do. But we're all equally entitled to those opinions - history will eventually declare the "winner."

That's not true, unless you mean by smaller government, fewer people with the same amount of power. When I think of smaller government, I refer to a government with less power over everyday life. That means they have less to offer in return for bribes.
You talk about a hypothetical authoritarian "small" government if you want, but there are no examples of small authoritarian governments. Such governments are, by definition, large (relative to the size of the country, of course).

Oh FFS. You're quibbling over the word "small?" The key points were "corrupt" and "authoritarian".

Enjoy your groupthink thread.

State ruling, specifically Colorado. It is a precedent so other states could also require detailed reporting now.

We should not be fighting in Syria. It's a tragedy created by Barack Obama's foreign policy. Which surprises me b/c he's supposed to be smart. Just not smart enough to learn the lesson from the war he opposed in Iraq. "feckless" comes to mind when I think of Egypt, Libya and Syria.

I'm not thrilled with Tilerson either. He's too liberal, to friendly to Russia. That's three out of 27 I don't care for.

I don't know much about Tilerson so I'll wait until I know more before opposing him. Seems a lot of people have reservations about him as SoS.

The rest of his picks have been pretty good if you don't like Pres. Obama. Business leaders certainly approve. Bill Gates has a new venture capital fund for green energy. Others will follow his lead.

There are reasons to be optimistic. I'll wait to see how well he handles the conflicts of interests.

Waiting on Trump's appointment for "Department of Veterans Affairs Secretary".

Need a ball buster with a history of honorable service, executive experience and an ability to rally media and congress. Personally think the job is too big for one person.

I wonder if this pathetic creature has left the USA in shame and moved to Canada like all those lying, famous celebrities, who still haven't left the US.

More than likely he will re-appear in political debates some time from now, with more of his amazing predictions!

CNN's Bob Beckel's BRILLIANT 2016 election predictions.

Completely ignores that Barack Obama is current President, has the power to investigate Russian hack on DNC.

This guy will have a stroke before Trump's first year is over.
