Under Trump's new policy proposal I would get between 28 to 31 points if I was aged bet. 26-30

Personally I'm not interested in immigrating to the US. When I lived in California for 7 years in the 70's, I worked as a computer technician and had tons of job offers. The hardest part was choosing what companies to reject the job offers. I was NOT a freeloader. I never got, nor asked for a dime in free benefits.

I left the US because I preferred the stress-free environment of my Madeira Island, even though it was poorer in comparison the the US. Quality of life was more important than earning money, for me.

The new requirements are to cut on legal migration from about 1 million to about 600K. There is so much immigration (legal + illegal) that a country can take in. The objective is to raise wages and give US citizens more opportunities for employment. What's wrong with that? Canada and Australia have very similar policies.

If Obama had done the same thing it would be praised and celebrated by Liberals and their propaganda media, but because it's Trump's idea, then it's bad. Typical...

I'm surprised Liberals haven't started bitching about the markets going up and more jobs being created.

Even if I was a Nobel winning scientist I'd never live in the US, unless it was in a heavily Conservative part of the country.

But you're not, and you wouldn't fit those requirements IF you wanted to immigrate to the USA.

I'm 68. Why the hell would I want to leave my stress free island and go to a place where half the population would hate me because of my politically incorrect conservative views?

At least here we can have civilized conversations between socialists, communists and right wingers.

Besides, being 68, I can understand why a country would not want me. I would be going to take advantage of free benefits, even though I put nothing in. Do you agree with that?

So am I and in fact I wish the days had 48 hours, so that I'd have more hours of work time.

At least Trump uses his own Golf courses to play the game. He still has quite a number of games to catch up to Obama.

May Trump continue his tweets for many more years and provoke rage among the Liberal Media.

California bakers refuse to bake a pro-Trump cake for 9-year-old fan...
Nine-year-old Dylan Harbin, aka “Pickle,” is such a big fan of President
Donald Trump that his mother SueAnn tried to get him a Trump cake for his birthday. However, according to the Washington Post, bakeries in the Harbins’ home state of California have refused to make the cake, forcing the mother to bake the cake herself.

Harbin recently got the media’s attention when press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders read his fan letter — in which he volunteered to mow the White House lawn — to President Donald Trump to the media on July 26. Bill Maher recently made fun of the child’s letter on his HBO show, “Real Time with Bill Maher,” mocking the boy’s spelling errors.

Now lets wait and wait and wait and wait to see the Liberal Media and the LGBT community go apesh*t over this.

Personally I don't care if a bakery refuses to bake a Trump cake, for the same reason I don't care if a baker refuses to make a cake for a gay wedding.

"North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States," Trump told reporters, speaking slowly and deliberately with his arms crossed in front of him. "They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen. He has been very threatening ... and as I said they will be met with fire, fury and frankly power, the likes of which this world has never seen before."

https://www.cnbc.com/2017/08/08/trump-warns-north-korea-threats-will-be-met-with-fire-and-fury.html

And as a domainer, I went to see if fireandfury.com was registered. It was - "We design wargames for historical military miniatures" http://www.fireandfury.com

Maybe Trump should just see how those new sanctions work out before running off at the mouth

Most of the illegal invasion of Europe at the moment is being done by NGO rescue ships that go collect them 5-10 km off the Libyan coast and drop them off about 400km away in mostly Italian ports. This is basically a shuttle service being provided to the criminal human traffickers, who are making fortunes thanks to these Liberal do-gooders who use EU money to fund the invasion of Europe for third world parasites...

Obama Attorney General Used Fake Identity To Hide Clinton Investigation
Former President Obama’s attorney general, Loretta Lynch, used a fake name to cover up an investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email server, indicates an admission from Lynch’s attorney.

Lynch was caught conducting a secret meeting with Bill Clintonaboard a private plane on a tarmac in Phoenix last year as Clinton’s wife pursued the presidency and amid an ongoing investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private, unsecured email server, which she illegally used during her tenure as secretary of State. Soon afterward, the former attorney general reportedly used a pseudonym to coordinate a narrative about the meeting with Department of Justice officials, Chuck Ross at The Daily Caller reports.

If you Google "American inventors" in English you'll see whatever "diversity" Google wants to push.
Search "inventor Americano" in Spanish, and you get totally different results. BTW I get the same result in Portuguese

This shows how Google manipulates the data and how it is biased in this particular search in the US.

It is now clear that anyone who works in Google and doesn't toe the PC Leftist Liberal line, is FIRED.

Trump = Incompetence + hubris, a combination that has never ended well in history. High stakes folks and it's a big insecure ego with a big mouth and no substance pulling us all into this. His unrestrained statement does not even consider the immediate well being our allies of SK or Japan.

LOL that's the result I get to for American Inventors. At least Edison on there

One theory is Kids are constantly asked in School to write about African American Inventors and the huge type ins sticks on American Inventors

I have been watching Google Doodles themes forever. So no surprises

Giggle knows whats best for us....right???

Surely they would not push their agenda on unknowing citizens through manipulation...would they???

Can't wait till their reign as a search engine comes to an end.

North Korea threatens missile strike on US territory Guam. North Korea's statement comes just hours after Trump said any threat to the US would be met with 'fire and fury'.

(Take a look at my last post 25 minutes ago). If Guam gets hit, you know Trump will strike back, then good luck to all. We are dealing with two children leaders.

Just like the Cuban Missile crisis, nothing will come out of this, unless little Kim goes too far with his nuke toys, then he will learn a lesson he will never forget.

I tested "American Inventors" on Yahoo and the results were similar to Google.
Bing was even worse, showing about 98% of inventors being only Blacks.

Still, it would be great to see Google get their ass kicked and sent to the garbage bin of history, so the others can learn how to behave.

Google, Bing ... its their company, they can show what they want. But let me give a little lesson on search engines and how they work:

First, if you are in US, using Google.com, and type in "United States Inventors" you get results similar to the Spanish and Portuguese "American Inventors."

Google presents results by relevancy, tries to determine intent, and factors in localization.. User interaction with the results is also important. If a result gets no interest, they're not likely to show it as much.

So right off the bat, POSSIBLE explanations for what you're seeing
1) CTR history on African American results for that query
2) Cultural differences in search intent / frequency. by language and location
3) "American", with no qualifier, is an ambiguous term. North American? South American? Central American? Afro American?

But here's the REAL reason:

The carousel for that query is essentially an "instant answer" or "featured snippet" being derived from Wikipedia's Inventors by Nationality category page, taxonomy NOT from Google search itself. If you go to that category page on English language Wikipedia, you'll see there are two sub-categories for American: African American Inventors and Puerto Rican Inventors. Google mashed up those sub cats as the most relevant results (since they have subcategory status) and probably grabbed Edison as a high-frequency result from one of the category pages.
Note there is no United States inventors page on Inventors by Nationality on English Wikipedia. They're sourcing the carousel for that query from elsewhere.

Two leaders with nukes and itchy trigger fingers. What could go wrong? 45's been talking about using nukes for decades - he's obviously fascinated with the prospect.
Even if US *could* totally destroy NK in the event of a nuclear conflict, at what cost for us all?

I typed in 'anglo american inventors' and no (0) picture results came up.
I typed in 'european american inventors' and three (3) picture results came up.

It is clear that I, as an anglo/european american, am being purposely discriminated against by the manipulation of the results...perhaps I should use my legal education to initiate a discrimination lawsuit!?!?!?

I was raised to be, and I am, very unbiased and there is not an undeserved pre judging bone in my body but this reverse discrimination has to stop. No man or woman should be put down or lifted up because of their origin or color...period. Shame on the search engines for pushing their own agendas.

(in the interest of full disclosure--I only checked one of the previously mentioned search engines)

You're not getting featured images or carousel, but there are plenty of search results! 169K for the first, Not every search produces a carousel or a featured snippet - generally they're reserved for high-frequency queries.
Both of those terms you typed have an average monthly search volume of 0. So I'm surprised they put up image results for either of them. And the results are pretty weak overall because there's not as much relevant content. Compare to American / African American Inventors, which both have a healthy avg search volume of about 10K.
Nobody's pushing an agenda, you're interpreting what you see through your own bias and assumptions.

assumptions.

You are as well...making assumptions that is...I am sure in your experience you have had what that word, when broken down, means. Maybe we both are guilty!?!

You, I assume, are arguing with yourself regarding search volume results...I made no reference to that at all...simply about the picture results.

There is something more at work than pushing an agenda here...its about the chase for the dollar. Those engines are catering to a specific result in order to increase revenue based upon those doing the searches. To me that is a much more harmful thing in the long term.

Maybe you don't see or agree with what I am saying but that is the beauty of America...we can have our own opposing views of the same situation...It is clear I will not change your view and I assure you that mine will not change. So lets agree to disagree...we have reached an impasse. :xf.smile:

Now, about our great leader and theirs...there are many things other than the 'biggie' that can be used to subdue NK fruitcake in the event he is stupid enough to make a strike, conventional or not, against the US or an ally...don't think we have to worry about fallout anytime soon (not much more than usual anyway).

This is foolish. People act like everything before 2017 didn't happen. The only difference is we have a President who won't appease the mad king.
