Zach Galifianakis and Trevor Noah were absolutely brutal on Obama.
They have their equals on the other side as well.

Question. Sanctions against Russia. Do you think Trump will have more, tougher sanctions, the same or will he ease up on them?

Smaller Government means less corruption. Your interpretation is the opposite. We disagree.

Smaller government only means less corruption if it's members aren't corrupt. I see way too much conflict of interest in his picks ... and the PE himself. Kleptocracy in the making.

Those who claim those of us who criticize are just "whiners" and "sore losers" - did you ever stop to think that maybe we criticize because we care deeply about our country and are very concerned about its future? Including the ability to to criticize our elected and appointed officials? We see red flags reminiscent of things that have played out badly elsewhere in the world and don't want it to happen here. Let's say we're wrong and its all a false alarm - PE turns into a big teddy bear, the new systems make health care cost concerns and senior cost of living worries a thing of the past, everyone has a great paying job, adequate health insurance, an awesome education and low taxes, and we all live happily ever after - well, that's great! Nothing would make me happier! I'd like to be wrong, but the big picture of everything going on leaves me very concerned.
I'm no fan of Pence, Kasich, Ryan, etc. but I would take any one of them any day over the talking yam.

Sanctions against Russia will go straight into the circular file. Vlad will clap his hands and say "dance, puppet dance."

Nope. Media is undeniably liberal, progressive and abhors Trump.

I don't know.

There are always conflicts of interest. For you to deny a huge government bureaucracy doesn't increase corruption is mind boggling.

There something to be said for a contrarian view.. but that denies human nature and reality.

I never said that - don't misquote me. I just said a small authoritarian government run by corrupt people can be just as corrupt. Plenty of examples of that around the world, I don't need to list them.

And to follow up on my last statement - the last thing I want to see is the election overturned in favor of Hillary - I seriously think that would start a civil war. Which would also make Vlad happy, but its the last thing we need.

Most of your objections are untrue, hysterical assertions.

Prove it. What did I "assert" in the paragraph you quoted that's "untrue?" Facts, please.
hysterical assertions
Unwarranted ad hominem attack. And if you knew me (which you don't) you'd also know that "hysterical" is pretty far off the mark.

How else was I supposed to interpret that statement, especially in response to mine?

The media has done made a huge effort to deflect blame from Hilary and delegitimize our incoming Government. All based on an anonymous official at the CIA.

If they have proof, they should publish it. Likely, Pres Obama didn't know anything until he read about it in the NYT.

Oy.
The second paragraph was a PS to my last paragraph in the previous post. And there are plenty of small, authoritarian, corrupt governments in the world.
All based on an anonymous official at the CIA.
The report is hasn't been made public yet, it was not the work of a singular "anonymous official." I think we all would like to see the actual report.

"Kleptocracy in the making"

"While we're at it, let's start a war with China because the big orange crybaby snowflake, who's too busy preening about his election victory to sit through security briefings etc., wants to build some luxury hotels in Taiwan."

I know I would. I want every detail made public. If Trump's crew had a hand ( which I doubt ), we should know.

We have Vets dying of neglect and the people responsible are promoted out instead of being charged with a crime.

It's not new to Pres Obama's term. It's been that way for decades. People like John McCain talk about it and do NOTHING to fix it.

We need to downsize the VA and give our Vets insurance cards they can use anywhere.

On January 20th I will smoke my first Cuban cigar in 20 years, while slowly sipping several bottles of 20 year old Vintage Madeira wine, with... yes you guessed it... 20 good conservative friends.

That's not true, unless you mean by smaller government, fewer people with the same amount of power. When I think of smaller government, I refer to a government with less power over everyday life. That means they have less to offer in return for bribes.
You talk about a hypothetical authoritarian "small" government if you want, but there are no examples of small authoritarian governments. Such governments are, by definition, large (relative to the size of the country, of course).

Blast from the past:

tl;dr Obama's picks were radicals with little real word experience.

Obama Surrounds Himself with the Most Extreme Appointees in American History

Many of these extremists nominated by Obama hail from academia, where they were shielded from outside scrutiny while they quietly indoctrinated our youth. But donโ€™t let the cloak of academia fool you; they are out to change America in ways most Americans oppose. More importantly, Americans need to realize their views are Obamaโ€™s views.

The American media is partly responsible for bringing such extremists to power. There is little doubt the media engaged in a massive propaganda effort to convince Americans that Obama was some kind of hip moderate; a breath of fresh air, a reformer, and someone who would fight the corrupt ways of Washington. Until Americans wake up and stop relying on the mainstream media for their source of news, they will continue to pay a heavy price for their ignorance. Unfortunately, this report covers just a few of Obamaโ€™s policy-makers, but there are many more such extremists within his administration.

A Tea Party site 'hail from academia" Oh, the horror, educated people.

Thanks for making my point.

Tea Party isn't an extreme part of the republican party. The people who think they could make communism work if they just had another chance are nuts.

The a-hole democrats holding "meetings" on c-span to explore ending the republic and installing a European style socialist parliament are extreme.

Obama's extreme. Trump is a reaction.
