Not true? I just want the people who called out Hillary or Obama on it to be consistent. He is scared.

You know this for fact? Show your proof. He told you? Stop being absurd.

Part of textbook strategy to control the press. Look how it started in other countries - first accusing the press of being liars and inciting trouble, restricting access, calling for journalist "ethics" laws, not allowing any criticism or satire, next thing you know you have state run media, aka propaganda machine, and journalists spreading any non sanctioned information are jailed or worse. Ecuador, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Eritrea, Egypt, Burma, Libya, Syria, Turkmenistan, N Korea ...1930s Germany (Where they coined that ever popular term Lรผgenpress)... It's been done before.

This is Obama, to the T.

Trump doesn't need to control the lying, corrupt, biased and untrusted Media. Just ignoring them will be fine...

MRC/YouGov Poll: Most Voters Saw, Rejected News Media Bias

RESTON, VA โ€“ The Media Research Center (MRC) announces the findings of a new post-election poll on what actual voters thought about the mediaโ€™s influence on the 2016 presidential race. The MRC/YouGov poll was conducted on November 9 and 10.

Key findings:

  • 7 in 10 (69%) voters do not believe the news media are honest and truthful.
  • 8 in 10 (78%) of voters believe the news coverage of the presidential campaign was biased, with nearly a 3-to-1 majority believing the media were for Clinton (59%) vs. for Trump (21%).
  • Even 1/3 (32%) of Clinton voters believe the media were โ€œpro-Clinton.โ€
  • 8% of Trump voters said they would have voted for Clinton if they had believed what the media were saying about Trump.
  • 97% of voters said they did not let the mediaโ€™s bias influence their vote.

โ€œThe media are in full panic mode because the American people rejected their leftist agenda -- and them. People didnโ€™t believe the nonsense that the media were politically neutral. Even a third of Hillary's supporters believe they were pro-Hillary!

โ€œWhen you have a strong majority of actual voters saying the national โ€˜newsโ€™ media were biased in favor of Hillary Clinton and tried to influence the public to vote for her; and believing they are fundamentally dishonest, you have a major problem that canโ€™t be fixed with an apology. The public has rejected this institution as being either objective or truthful. There is an institutional bias at major media networks that must be repaired and I am highly skeptical that news executives are interested or capable of undertaking this responsibility.

โ€œDespite the overwhelming and persistent bias of this cycle in particular, I am heartened by the fact that, according to our poll, the American people didnโ€™t let it sway their vote. If this isnโ€™t a wakeup call for the left-wing media to stay out of politics, I donโ€™t know what is.โ€

This is Obama, to the T.

@enlytend I guess you forgot Pres. Obama's war on journalist. DOJ secretly recording their calls, reading their email ?

http://www.aim.org/special-report/president-obamas-war-on-journalists/

Critics on both the left and the right are lambasting President Obama for his ongoing policies restricting the freedom of the press, ostensibly in favor of national security, which in some cases amount to a vendetta against reporters who publish what leakers leak, rather than just going after what the leakers have done themselves. โ€œThe Obama administrationโ€™s unprecedented pursuit of criminal liability against security leakers threatens to rope in the Fourth Estate,โ€ wrote Stanfordโ€™s Jennifer Granick and Morgan Weiland for Forbes. (Weiland used to work for the far-left Media Matters.) โ€œThe message? Donโ€™t report national security stories or you will become a target.โ€

You might want to wait for more evidence then being mean to journalist and avoiding press conferences before going full tinfoil hat.

Just saying..

Obviously this is all going to change for the better now with DT ? Because he's going to repeal the police state right D-:
In a normal, democratic country, which the US is not, the president, along with members of Congress, would have been impeached and sent to trial.

The US is currently ranking 41/180 for press freedom and I think the rating is going to deteriorate by next year.

Jeff Sessions will lead the DOJ. Despite liberal outrage, he has a history of being a fair.

Unlike Eric Holder who was impeached by congress for lying or Loretta Lynch who is every bit as partisan, Session actually cares about the law.

I don't know if anyone will repeal the police state. How's that working where you live?

I agree, using the IRS to harass political opponents should have been enough to impeach Pres. Obama.

Our weak republican leadership, afraid of the press refused to pursue Government reform. They were unable or unwilling to force Eric Holder to resign and hold criminals in the Gov accountable.

The US media helped President Obama sweep every scandal under the rug. "it's time to move on",

Trump isn't afraid of the press. They hate him and he knows it.

Hopefully Trump will be effective rolling back the bureaucracy and corruption of the last 16 years.

If you have some actual proof or evidence besides your own fear, I'd like to hear it.

You know, its funny..... I think we're forgetting one of the core reasons the democrats lost. Hillary's lies, her cheating, her fraudulent behavior, her above-the-law mentality, her negative reputation of having accomplished very little over 3 decades in the public spotlight...

Rarely do people in a company get to elect their boss. But this happens every 4 years for 1+ million US federal employees. Essentially they are choosing the president who will also happen to be their boss or their boss' boss, etc - on their org chart.

There are over 1+ million federal employees and those that I know, who are in such roles, refused to vote for Hillary to become their "boss".

These people are from across the ideological spectrum. Some democrats, some republicans, some unaffiliated. However ALL of them agreed that they, themselves, would be in prison today if they behaved like Hillary did. NONE of them believed that they'd get the courtesy of a heads-up of an impending investigation against them. NONE would have had the time to wipe and/or tamper with evidence. And, certainly, none of them would have been able to apply for another job in the federal government while under investigation by the DOJ - let alone get a commendation from the current "boss" as being the "best qualified". In fact, they ALL believed that they'd be forgotten very soon after being thrown in prison and would have had their careers and lives ruined trying to defend themselves.

It wasnt only these folks that I know who didnt want to vote for Hillary, it was their family, their friends..... I was even told that in some cases it was their neighbors. People who would have normally voted for Hillary supported these workers and did not vote for her. Did they vote for Trump? Probably but they may have voted 3rd party. I imagine that this sentiment can be extrapolated from the over 1/2 dozen federal employees across the entire 1+ million federal worker pool. Add their friends, their family, their neighbors and you get a Hillary loss.

We can pick on anyone for a number of reasons... their hair color, their inability to stand without help, their statements, their beliefs, their positions, their ideological background, their ability to scam people, their past, their present..... But NO ONE is perfect and for that reason we can do this for an eternity.

In the end, the loss is about Hillary and her inability to tell the truth and the people's inability to trust her. For me, that was the key - I do not trust her. The media doesnt get this. Those who voted for her, or better - those who voted against Trump, refuse to get this. I have family members and friends who simply refuse to believe she did anything wrong. Given all that was made public, this is willful ignorance on their part.

They all know that I love them and I respect their choices but they know that I believe they are wrong.

But it was OK for Obama to blame everything on the prior administration, for nearly his entire 2 terms. He wasnt deflecting though. This is all a two-way street.

But its not deflecting anyway - its comparing.
