Actually, most of America doesn't like that Canadian. Last time I looked, he had a 26% favorability rating. The only reason why we haven't deported him yet, is we're going to use him for a few more years. Let him think he's getting at Obama, when he's helping the Democrats out, wrecking the Republican party. Just 3 more years to the next election and the Tea Party folk will get into a frenzy the closer we get, and then their crazy gets exposed even more. Again, helping the Democrats out.

What does the Republican Party do about that? The independents (the votes you need) is just about as high as the Democrats. And the other social issues like gay marriage? It's all clearly going in one direction. Either way you move, it's going to be a loss. Stay where you are, lose the independents on social issues. Move to the middle/left, lose your base. Lose/Lose. Social issues, this country's Demographics, Hillary winning in 2016, where is the next win, if ever again?

Well, working together is how you get things done.

Impossible to work with Obama. His version of working together is everybody else doing what he wants. When congress doesn't pass cap and trade, he uses the EPA to squash the coal and oil industry. When congress does not pass immigration as soon as he wants or in the form that he wants, he tells the justice department to ignore the rule of law. When congress has legitimate questions about Benghazi, Obamacare, Fast and Furious, His visitation logs, or anything else he doesn't want to talk about, he obfuscates. He is a paid employee, but he acts like a dictator. -shrugs- That's the environment he wants, that's what he gets.

I just thought the piece corrected a few lies that the left like to spread.

Oh, and I am sure a majority does not like Texan Ted Cruz, I mean we start with 47% that can't wean themselves off the government teat right from the getgo ( and yeah, I know a minority of that 47% is actually legit, don't even go there - you know exactly what I mean ) .

We already took apart that nonsense earlier in the thread. The number I posted is the number used when talking about this. The number Romney used in his commercials and his closing speech talking about how it was still over 8%, then it went under 8 right before the election. The reality is it's going back down from a high of 10%. 7 < 10.
