“Fact checkers” that skew leftist.most them do.
Snopes, in particular, fooled the most “Libs” ; )

The disparaging TRUTH: there is no grounds for discourse, nor any constructive debate, unless BOTH sides can agree on the FACTS.

Not if they agree to these WashingtonCompost sources, reigiously.

Case in point; Do you *honestly* believe Trump told 30,000+ lies?”

“Come on man!” :xf.laugh:

...and you believe everything he said was the TRUTH? LOL. O_o

I would guess that about half of everything he said was a lie, mixed with a grain of truth, so that you would buy into his BS. That's how mass manipulators work.

Whether you believe it or not, that's irrelevant. The truth and facts speak for themselves.

Reigiously? C'mon man!

Case in point: Trumpers live in an ALTERNATE REALITY.

Must be a great author, He could uncover what he whole military-industrial/CIA complex and billions of dollars couldn't find after several years. Either that or it's just porn for the never-Trumpers.

And you believe the CIA? ...some people just can't handle the TRUTH.

Synopsis -

It is a chilling story that begins in the 1970s, when Trump made his first splash in the booming, money-drenched world of New York real estate, and ends with Trump’s inauguration as president of the United States. That moment was the culmination of Vladimir Putin’s long mission to undermine Western democracy, a mission that he and his hand-selected group of oligarchs and Mafia kingpins had ensnared Trump in, starting more than twenty years ago with the massive bailout of a string of sensational Trump hotel and casino failures in Atlantic City. This book confirms the most incredible American paranoias about Russian malevolence.

To most, it will be a hair-raising revelation that the Cold War did not end in 1991—that it merely evolved, with Trump’s apartments offering the perfect vehicle for billions of dollars to leave the collapsing Soviet Union. In House of Trump, House of Putin, Craig Unger methodically traces the deep-rooted alliance between the highest echelons of American political operatives and the biggest players in the frightening underworld of the Russian Mafia. He traces Donald Trump’s sordid ascent from foundering real estate tycoon to leader of the free world. He traces Russia’s phoenix like rise from the ashes of the post–Cold War Soviet Union as well as its ceaseless covert efforts to retaliate against the West and reclaim its status as a global superpower.

Without Trump, Russia would have lacked a key component in its attempts to return to imperial greatness. Without Russia, Trump would not be president. This essential book is crucial to understanding the real powers at play in the shadows of today’s world. The appearance of key figures in this book—Paul Manafort, Michael Cohen, and Felix Sater to name a few—ring with haunting significance in the wake of Robert Mueller’s report and as others continue to close in on the truth.

There are discrete differences in the East not entirely compatible with Western 'morality'.

That's exactly the problem. There is no more Western morality, just a hodgepodge of ever moving goalposts and morality whims that change with the current political trends. It's a vacuum into which anything can be inserted, which I think is the intent.

Thank you for that summary. Little Russia controlling the giant USA again...

Of course I believe the warmongers and the CIA and FBI - when it was clearly their intention to unseat Trump and they couldn't come up with the goods. Or maybe they did, and that would explain some of his odd concessions to the deep state. Now that they have their own puppets back in, everything is fine. Until a drone blows up your child's wedding.

IMO, the simple solution: no need to control the entire country when you hold the key, control one man.

Occam’s razor: a philosophical principle that states the simplest explanation is usually the best one.

If you look at it through a prism (outside the box of polarity, ie. Democrat vs Republican):

The best case scenario... you have a partner in crime. :sneaky:

The worst case scenario... you divide the country. :xf.confused:

IMO

The simple solution ignores the fact that Trump was actually tougher on Russia than Obama, which pretty much blows that whole theory to bits. Maybe the author should have spent his time investigating Obama's ties - if he weren't such an obvious partisan.

I don't accept that excuse. Americans have chosen to divide themselves. They should own that, like grown-ups. Don't blame it on some supernatural babushka mind-control trick.

America routinely sows division in smaller countries - has been for almost a century. If one of those smaller countries somehow managed to sow division in America, I applaud their ingenuity.

Also interesting that when those smaller countries blame America the way some Americans blame Russia, it's usually some dictator like Chavez who does the blaming. Because dictators need an enemy, real or imagined.

If Americans were really concerned about outsiders sowing division, why haven't we heard about China from the Democrats? You can bet that, whatever Russia is doing to influence the US, China is doing 50 times more. Rather than a few Facebook posts, they are buying out entire universities and industries (including Hollywood).

Yet, all we hear is "muh Russia."

Why the silence? It's almost as though they have incriminating pictures and evidence on the president and his family....

@Cannuck
Watch this video;

See? The world isnt falling apart.

Google is a company that has been on the cutting edge. Whatever happened to Yahoo?
The world isn't falling apart...yet. There is a time lag. The sun will continue to shine :xf.wink:

China broke Paris accords (AGAIN)
True, warning, due to poor air quality?

Why does that not surprise me? China has 4X the population of USA and is a so-called 'developing nation'. Of course they are a 'developing nation', and will continue to develop and to pollute (no excuse). Who is going to stop them? Does that mean the rest of the world ought to follow China's example? GLWT

Why is 44 always used as the excuse for 45? Russia yes, Putin no....and with regard to Navaly? Total smokescreen IMO, puppet uses sanctions as an excuse...Putin wins either way.

The Cold War gave rise to more than one authoritarian.

Xi, foil, real power competition...the basis of US foreign policy.

Love him or hate him, one positive thing that can be said about former President Donald Trump is that he has been both correct and consistent about the danger China poses to the U.S. Indeed, Trump has been sounding the alarm since at least the mid-1980s.

This is one point I applaud, unfortunately 45 took the wrong turn. Had he taken the route that Biden is currently on, he probably would've been re-elected.

No doubt, and making gains. Due to mistakes of the past. Course correction required. "Why the silence?" Quad meeting today:

"We'll be frank in explaining how Beijing's actions and behavior challenge the security, the prosperity, the values of not only the United States but also our partners and allies."

Price said the U.S. officials would also look for areas where the two sides can cooperate—for example, on climate change—but only where this benefits the American national interest.

at this point I am preparing for the great Re-Set ... New World Order or what ever each individual wants to call what is coming .., China will be the world leader .. if one looks throughout the history of China and follow it to date ...they will see the Chinese regime doesn’t take any shit of any kind off anyone that they enforce .. they will put people into camps that are fuckups .. they will beat that ass with a wooden pole .. they will shoot and execute a person .. AND.. make that persons family pay for the very bullet they used to kill them with ... don’t believe me?? Look it up .. the Chinese throughout history clearly do not like certain races of people .. the Koreans as well ... Chinas regimes from the beginning have used certain races .. religions and ect to do their dirty work for them .. then after the work is completed .. they either imprison them or waste their asses altogether...

It’s coming ... I think Russia can’t wait to get the US back ... I am 98% sure it is going to be China .. Russia .. then India .. the third leader could be different .. but I am 100% sure on the first two

For all of the problems in Asia, they have a brighter future than the west - mainly because they haven't lost their minds, they aren't working to subvert every aspect of their established society and morals, and accept the concept of personal responsibility.

I don't disagree. Re-engineering of societies is happening everywhere in different but methodical ways. The lefty brainwashing of the west could be easily considered cultural and national suicide while other countries build up.

GOP 100% for adding 1.9T to the debt for tax cuts that primarily benefit the rich.

GOP 100% against a stimulus plan that costs the same amount, and gives direct payments to 90% of people.
