@JB Lions - there is truth to what you say. Can you recall any post where I have been pro-Biden or even pro-Liberal? If so, then call me on that, please. Personally I would feel like I am interfering in the election by supporting one side in particular, considering I am not a citizen of the United States. I am a global citizen and I support the Green Party (which would benefit everyone). That sounds socialist, but have I been pro-Socialist? I don't believe so. I have said that there are positive benefits to having social programs like medicare and unemployment insurance - that is why we pay taxes IMO. Otherwise, I would say to hell with taxes and let me make my own medicine, which by the way, I do. The only time in recent memory that I have seen a doctor is to get a my medical license to legally grow my own weed. The last time I was in a hospital was to have my appendix removed. They almost got me hooked on opioids after that incident.

I have no malicious intent or wish to interfere whatsoever in US elections, but as a member of NP's, I am consistently being put on guard by those who defend Trump, with whom I have continued to correct on a number of issues. The dissension caused by they who feel they have someone or something to protect, by act of omission or by ignoring fact, and by personally attacking someone who is trying to help illuminate errors, is a blatant disregard for truth IMO. Is that not the purpose of this forum? Agreed, the the way of Trump is not mine, nor will I ever support someone in government who IMO is merely self-seeking, promotes division and consistently lies. Isn't the government supposed to be for the people, not one's self? However you dress it up, if it walks and quacks... well, you know the story.

To follow up, have I been an advocate of cannabis legalization? As a private citizen, in a so-called free society, don't I have the right to choose what I want to do? Why did the government make 420 illegal in the first place? Why do they want to legalize it, other than to monopolize the market and tax it? The stuff those large corporations is SH*T IMO. I rarely smoke cannabis, I grow in order to make it into a topical pain reliever for personal use. I would be a criminal if I sold the goods I grow, unless I jump through all the hoops and have a government permit to do so. There is scientific evidence of it's effectiveness and I know from experience that it works for me. I don't try to push any agenda on others.

Just in the past 1/2 hour, I have had a spam call by some unknown agency that threatened federal prosecution. The last time I came on here, my IP was blocked. Prior to that my computers were messed up. It's a scary world we're entering. I am trying my best to be a voice of reason in the wilderness. I have little to gain and a lot to loose by my participation. I sleep at night knowing that I have done my part. I am in a safe place and have found peace, that is all I wish for my brethren. Thanks.

What has worked in the past may not work well in the future. Investing in pro-active entrepreneurial endeavors, providing incentives for small business is a good thing. Fossil fuels will not go away anytime soon. That is not in question. Fracking has proven to be a source of water pollution and environmental destruction, especially through expansion into protected Federal Wildlife refuges. Providing jobs in new technology and developing sectors allows for free-market competition, more importantly, employment.

Government regulations need to be based on evidence. Enforcing stricter guidelines on heavy polluters is smart.

Allowing industrial giants like China to have free reign without enforcement is stupid.

Now you sound like President Trump.

The only way USA will be able to have any leverage on countries like China is if they lead by example. Two wrongs don't make a right.

You don't own the market of ideas. Look at how California is implementing the "climate accord" before you criticize my view point.

Oceans are not getting cleaner despite groups like green peace. I support conservation but it has to be done through innovation not taxing and regulating people into poverty.

If you think the $10 to $15 gallon ( 3.8 liters ) of gasoline is a made up number, go back and research what people were saying 8 years ago. Oregon tried to tax people based on how many miles they drove. California considered it.

Obama administration used the "navigable waters" act to regulate seasonal stream, fish ponds etc. It was against the rules to capture rain water.
