Wiping the machines cannot be seen as anything except an admission of guilt. No reason at all to wipe them. And wiping them when they are under contention like this is clearly the destroying of evidence. If somebody is OK with that, then they are OK with pissing on democracy. Nonsense. Early voting in the upcoming Georgia Senate elections starts December 14 - that's two weeks from now. All of the machines have to be reprogrammed, recertified, and put back in service for that statewide election, Einstein.

The software and hardware are part of the records that must be retained for 22 months by Federal law. The hardware to the degree that there is firmware that can be updated. The software, as any techy will tell you, but also because the drive contains file records. And the Dominion systems do everything on the Windows 10 file system. Including the storage of ballot images, audit 'logs,' and the rest. All of which can be modified and deleted -- as per the instruction manual. The full drive image is necessarily part of the records.

Every independent investigation of the dominion machine and software has shown it is easily hacked. PBS, even a few democrat senators including Elisabeth Warren criticized dominion machines.
