Well then based on that, assimilation is simply impossible?, therefore the bigger question is why would the EU leaders be so ignorant to invite them in or accept them in if they had no intentions of assimilating? I had a long distance Turkish taxi driver, excellent guy was friendly, fluent in german, english, etc. seemed assisimilated and part of Germany, got along with several Germans he asked questions with. I had no idea he wasn’t German. Must be others like him that could help the situation.

As for the Taxi driver speaking several languages and being friendly... that should apply to the majority of taxi drivers from all over. In that line of work the more languages they speak and the friendlier they are, the more success they'll have.

As for stupid EU Leaders opening the borders to let millions in, (against the peoples will)... VOTES. Just like the Dems in the US wanting more immigrants, especially illegals.

This is stupid. As if you need to drink or go to war to assimilate. You can find plenty of Germans that don't drink alcohol. You can find plenty of Muslims that do. What does this have to do with anything. Earlier it was posted Muslims getting jobs, truck driving and you had a fit about it. Getting jobs, making your own money, getting settled in helps. Plenty of Muslims have always lived in Germany, when I lived over there it was mainly Turkish people.

I will say this. My mother just came back from vacation over there, mainly Leipzig and was telling me about this, refugees. They cannot work when they first get over there, because they need to go thru paperwork (if they have any) background checks etc. In the meantime, they get like food stamps/money, put them in apartments, or metal boxes/trailers stacked on top of each other is how she explained it to me in Leipzig. Germans won't hire them until they go thru this process and learn to speak German. So yeah, you should have a plan to help people assimilate.
