Wow, I go to eat, mr-x is triggered with 5 posts in a row. 5, checking them out, not 1 significant.

You actually posted this:

US wages are rising.

Oh boy. I'm going to see if you can Google that one on your own. Actually, I'll give you a helping hand - https://www.google.com/search?q=us+wages+chart&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b-1

Then look at the chart. Then post the years where they haven't risen, with a link to the source.

Later Saturday, GOP Sen. John McCain (Ariz.) rebutted Trumpโ€™s position by tweeting: โ€œTo our allies: bipartisan majorities of Americans remain pro-free trade, pro-globalization & supportive of alliances based on 70 years of shared values. Americans stand with you, even if our president doesnโ€™t.โ€

Even if his supporters don't either. Americans will win again next election, throw the Ruskies out.

Because Europeans are weak and pussies.
But as far as I know, the US has never stopped buying oil from Venezuela, even when relations with Chavez were at an all-time low. Business never stops. Even Arab countries hostile to Israel are doing business with Israel. Realpolitik and business interests first.

You dodged the original question and deflected back to other countries.

Pointless. The US doesn't import 100% of EU goods. A few percent.

I doubt there are other countries buying as many stupid BMWโ€™s as the US.
I am sure Trump could convince the Saudis to stop buying them also. Wheres the BMW market then? Poof. Gone. Haha.

That's because Angela Merkel needs all the money she can scrape up to give all those, mostly muslim illegals, all the free benefits that Germans and other European native citizens worked so hard for and that these ungrateful freeloaders get in a silver platter.

Since they donโ€™t want to pay the bills, The US armed forces should pull out of Germany, that or start paying for protection 100% out of the German budget or make them enlist all the economic refugees into protecting Germany. Lets see how that might work.

Maybe McCains wife once sworn in, will turn from a RINO into a Democrat. She should.

McCain is out of touch and the reason behind the globalist cabal ruining American manufacturing. A career swamp creature, like other senile wind bags like Pelosi and Waters, better to keep their mouths shut and be thought only as fools, than to open it up and remove all doubt.

Trump was elected on Anti Globalization. Americans do share similar values with some allies of democratic govtโ€™s, just not US Taxpayers paying the alliances bills.

Reporter: How long until you will be able to figure out they are serious about giving up nuclear weapons?

Trump: Thatโ€™s a good question, within the first minute Iโ€™ll know

Reporter: ...how?

Trump: My touch, my feel, thatโ€™s what I do.

I speak 5 languages to varying degrees, and I have no words in ANY of them to express my astonishment and anger that someone negotiating for the ultimate high stakes on a global scale could be so foolishly egotistical and naive.

He also has no science or nuclear advisor. ( Not that heโ€™d listen to them if he did...)

โ€œAs President Trump prepares to meet Kim Jong-un of North Korea to negotiate denuclearization, a challenge that has bedeviled the world for years, he is doing so without the help of a White House science adviser or senior counselor trained in nuclear physics.โ€

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/06/09/climate/trump-administration-science.html
Kind of a good thing to have if youโ€™re discussing nukes, dontcha think?

As of a few months ago, his โ€œde facto science advisorโ€ was a guy with a Political Science degree and no background in any of the real sciences.

PS: Theyโ€™re not giving up their nukes. But maybe he can sell them on a Burger King franchise.
Report: North Korea won't give up nukes but may allow U.S. fast food

Walking in late to the gender equality breakfast at G7. Does he not have an alarm clock? Forgot to order a wake up call? Or just deliberately being rude? This is unacceptable.

I can't remember a war Sen. John McCain didn't support. He's a moderate republican, willing to compromise but seemed to put his vendetta above his office.

He's dying of cancer but instead of resigning, aids will run his office so he can hold on to power.

The problem here is that the vast majority of economic refugees invading Germany and the rest of Europe are Muslims and therefore would never defend Christian majority (for now) countries... on the contrary, many come here to impose their Sharia and Jihad on us...

Some inconvenient facts for the person who is accusing our allies of robbing us:

Average tariff rates charged by G-7 nations:

USA: 1.6%
EU: 1.6%
UK: 1.6%
Italy: 1.6%
Germany: 1.6%
France: 1.6%
Japan: 1.4%
Canada: 0.8%

(Source: data.worldbank.org)

โ€œPresident Trumpโ€™s top economic adviser accused Justin Trudeau of a โ€œbetrayalโ€ that risked making Mr. Trump look weak before his North Korea meetingโ€
https://nyti.ms/2HBO5Ci

Aside from the fact that making someone else look โ€œstrongโ€ isnโ€™t the Canadian PMโ€™s job, 45 showed up up late, left early, generally disrespected allied leaders like a spoiled brat and flip flopped on his own positions, itโ€™s not Trudeau making him look bad.

He IS weak. And Kim will no doubt take advantage of that.

That summit in Singapore will probably be declared a 'success' (unless 45 decides to make another flip-flop and leave, you never know).
Kim will play his ego, let him think he has the upper hand, but in the end 45 will not achieve anything.
It's not important as long as he can show off and claim he at least tried to do something.
Kim has already won. Recognition, legitimation, consolidation of his regime.
Another sad day for US diplomacy.

Takeaway: you can't effectively negotiate when you don't even know what you are talking about.

Some predictions on the upcoming summit: an empty promise of denuclearization (in exchange for various concessions on the part of the US) which will be dangled like a carrot to get even more from the US, then rescinded as soon as itโ€™s convenient.

Well then based on that, assimilation is simply impossible?, therefore the bigger question is why would the EU leaders be so ignorant to invite them in or accept them in if they had no intentions of assimilating? I had a long distance Turkish taxi driver, excellent guy was friendly, fluent in german, english, etc. seemed assisimilated and part of Germany, got along with several Germans he asked questions with. I had no idea he wasnโ€™t German. Must be others like him that could help the situation.

I noticed you ducked my question. I think you were all happy with what you posted, and thought it was something special that wages were going up, except they go up every month. It's like the time you were excited about record breaking stock market months, when that happened over half the time under Obama the last few years.

The summit. It'll probably be passed off as a meet and greet, I've seen that term being used. Then maybe another meeting past the November elections, where nothing will happen.

The great deal maker, "My touch, my feel, thatโ€™s what I do."

Not actually new:
"spend just as much time preaching on why marriage is between one man and one woman"

You guys have always been like that. Maybe Trump didn't get the message? One man and one woman, not one man, one woman and multiple porn stars without a condom.

This means a lot coming from an economist that can't read a chart or understand what market volume and open interest are.
Wage increase, don't try to bring other stuff into it. You couldn't back up your post, hence you not linking to any chart/source. Don't post stuff you have no knowledge of, then you wouldn't trip over yourself so much.

haha, wtf

How do market sectors work? Ask JB, he knows EVERYTHING. He has the Internet.

Retail Workers' Gains Drive Long-Awaited Pickup in U.S. Wages
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...-gains-drive-long-awaited-pickup-in-u-s-wages

Workers are leaving their jobs at a faster rate, confident they can obtain bigger paychecks elsewhere.
https://www.bloomberg.com/view/articles/2018-05-16/wages-are-poised-to-increase-at-a-faster-rate

I'm embarrassed for you:

"expansion that began in mid-2009"

Besides the charts you struggle to read showing wage increases each year. Like I said, stuff elementary school kids can grasp.
