Hi

For this, let's assume that .tel will not be a total flop.

What type of keywords will be most valuable for this extension? Will it be geographical keywords, like newyork.tel, losangeles.tel, etc, or what else?

how were the domains assigned during sunrise?

seems that a lot of names were taken by people with no claim to the trademark in that period. was it still a first come first served basis if there was no trademark holder in the sunrise period?

help

Hi all

Am I doing something wrong, I have added some "public data" to my .tel at Dynadot and when I click "activate" I still this appearing in red at the top

The profile cannot be activated, because it contains no public contact data in the domain xxxx.tel

How long do I have to wait after I added the public data??

The sunrise process is explained in detail here, and the issue of dubious trademark applications was discussed earlier on in this thread.

We're in general availability now.. time to look forward, not back :)

I have read all the documentation.

I am just interested to know how some potentially high value domains have ended up with non trademark holders in the sunrise period?

I am slightly annoyed that a domain that I wanted to bid on was not available in landrush but is now owned by an employee of a .tel registrar/developer who cannot have owned a trademark for the word.

There may be a very good explanation for it, that's what I'm trying to find out.

Good Morning All, had been traveling quite a bit... Back to read up on the latest...

Great post #2678 . Enjoyed it and the Follow up by Henri as well.

Looks like all my .Tel domains are working quite nicely, Friending and privacy working well also.

Interesting article on Multilingual function at Telnic:

http://www.foxbusiness.com/story/telnic-launches-multilingual-website/

Looks like every nation will be buying and using .tel-

Starting to look into Premium SMS function on some of my .tel's.

Very pleased with DomainMonster and their level of customer service.

Would be interested in users with knowledge of premium SMS codes etc...

Regards-

you almost got me

Hi imaginat,
I am surprised that you regged only digits dot tel ; I was sure that there was a Telnic's rule saying that digits are allowed only with letters ; example : call411.tel -- ny911.tel -- pizza212.tel

Am I wrong ?

Hi imaginat,
You really got me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All of the below are offering .TEL at various prices.
I'm sure there are others as well.
Name.com
DynaDot.com
DomainMonster.com
Moniker.com

I recommend Name.com.

I believe the cheapest is currently name.com, as they're currently running an $8.95 promo for the first year of registration. Or you could check out domainmonster.com (the largest .tel registrar). Here's a full list of participating registrars.

Monetizing .TEL --- Any ideas ?

For example, I owned a CITYNAME.TEL, a big city.
Is it possible to fix it in order to make a lot of money with it ?
I will appreciate having yours comments, ideas.

Telking, goodmorning to you as well.

I'm looking for positive technical review/feedback on SMS premium text messaging.

As far as the posting on Ebay, apparantely you are not an avid fan of Guerilla Marketing Techniques. My auction at Ebay states the obvious to domainers... It is a positive listing stating the Virtues of .tel and showcasing my site.

Feel free to make your own ebay listings, your own technical comments, so on and so forth. While you're at it add some substance to the conversation.

Kind regards

Does anyone know if it is possible to create email addresses with our .tel domains ??
I can't seem to find any information if this is possible or not ( which is why I guess its probably something that is not currently possible ).
