.tv The Semi-UnOfficial .TV Tasting Thread..

So we all register TV's on a daily basis. Ok, maybe not always, but I bet you don't go two full days without at least searching for one.... And then we come here and post them in a random thread and hope someone says "Eureka!, that is awesome" and not "Dev it you tard."

I propose a Tasting thread. Post them in here, but before you do, you MUST appraise and/or comment about a previous post in this threads submissions. In other words, you want an appraisal for your TV? Give one back to the people. This gives everyone a realitively quick turnaround on the names and a chance to throw them back to the tasting registrar and pick up a new one instead.

You know as well as I that you have been not 100% on a name, but without feedback you sat on it too long and were stuck with it. With responses in here, you might decide that "lemondropcastle.tv" though it sounded good, is actually not and you can get your money back....

Also, in case you don't have one, I taste TV at Dynadot. Feel free to post other registrars that let you taste.

Hiya! I would say all reg free except the 'buy' ones. They are good because they are all themed so you could build something around the 'buy' concept and integrate these into one site. With a bit of development, marketing and branding, you might have something there. If you get my drift!

My prefered are buymovies and buygames, because I see a dev potential...
But I'm not so much fan of the concept buy-something... Could'nt it be free? :]

How would you develop marschannel.tv?

I think these are the most important questions to ask yourself:
- Can I develop a website focused on the name I want to reg?
- How can I develop this name?
- Could it be a video-oriented website?
- Could I easily find videos related to this term?

My trick is typing in the keyword I find available as a .tv,
in the Youtube searchbox and Google searchbox...

If I get a results of more than, let's say... 10.000 results, It becomes interesting...
Would it make sense to put these youtube videos on keyword.tv? Yes?
Would it be interesting for people to find keyword-oriented videos under keyword.tv? Yes? -> I reg the name
