What, no domainer thread about The Web turning 28 years old ? Perhaps its in another section.
I know many are sucked-in by the ratings-driven 'Good Cop. Bad Cop.' format of Corporate Media that pits (bad cop) "Liberal / Mainstream Media" (aka MSM) against the (good cop) law & order, god-fearing, conservatives.
Of course, the reality is an open, free, no gatekeeper, web is the brainchild of real liberals... from Marshall McLuhan's The Medium Is The Message, in the 1960's to Tim Berners-Lee coding the medium to deliver the message 28 years ago.
While many, if not most, conservatives lack the character to publicly pay homage to the (liberal) medium that carries their message, perhaps one day they will have enough intellectual integrity to stop falsely lynching it.
