I feel the .com.au would be great, but I'm worried it won't index well nor appeal well to a US market. Right now I'm tossing up between the .co and a .com.au, with the main reason I haven't already gone with .co being I was worried people may see it as a typo/enter the wrong domain
.co before .com.au for the american market would be the way i would go
I just recently registered awsm.com.au - any good?
Congratulations to the Magpies
...Wondering if anyone here has been asked to provide info to the auDA regarding any of their .com.au's. I have under 100 but am constantly worrying about "losing them"

I bet it could have gone even higher.1) Poker.com.au just sold for $100K. Not bad considering online gambling banned in Australia
Shocking that someone would let it drop.2) Electricity.com.au dropping tomorrow. Could be a big one!
I bet it could have gone even higher.
Most of my readers have heard of flipping domain names, websites, apps, and other digital products. Have you ever heard of flipping a domain registrar or dropcatcher? How about several?
This recently happened with Drop.com.au, one of the main dropcatchers/domain name registrars/ for the .AU (Australian) market. Here is how it went down.

the abn is needed for the eligibility , but you only need the one not one per name.Any one an Expert with .com.au domains?
Hi all,
I have been into domains for around 6 years, mostly .com/.info/.net ect ect Ive sold over 100 over the years... today I saw something interesting online in regards to .com.au domains and it got me thinking why cant I buy a few? As to date I own ZERO .com.au's and I am from Australia.
I am a bit confused to the rules can you buy like 10 domains on the same ABN number or do you need different ABNs for different domains?
I notice companies like OMG | Online Marketing Group have like 100s of premium .com.au domains via 1 ABN, I also ready about how this company started lol..
I am looking at developing and SEOing these .com.au's..not just sitting on them...
To start I want to buy like 5, and test the water..
Any advice for me? Any one have some powerful insights into .com.au domains?
thanks
