Hello,

I have a question about Australia.

I want to know if we can register names in .com.au / .au (I think now becoming available)

My friend is living there for 4 years and will be applying for Australian citizenship.

Do we need to be a citizen there ? Resident of Australia isn't enough..?

I searched for answers and saw we need to have a Australian registered company or on similar lines..but these info are old can someone help with clear answers...

If a resident/citizen of Australia is allowed to register...then from Australian registrars are enough as a Australian businesses? I mean located in Australia?

Can these be sold in secondary market?

Any clear information is highly appreciated.

P.S.: I know this thread is not active and hope to see some resourceful info.
