We need this one too guys :)

This guide will also help LLLL.com holders to understand more the value of their 4 letters .com based on how expensive the similar 3 letters .com are.

From:

http://3character.com/priceguide.html

Pricing Guide for 3-Letter (Composed Of Letters Only) Domains:

Current Observed Minimum Wholesale Price (regardless of letter combo) as of February 1, 2008:

3-Letter .com - $6700 (+ $300 since January 1, 2008 report)

But I consider their guide a bit old since they are not taking in consideration the emergenging countries that appreciate other letters and as we have run a poll here several times lately, the majority of people consider the letters U
and W to be Premium letters.

Let`s have a look at some recent LLL.com sales as reported from NameBio.com :

seems to been sold by Telepathy. the guy really knows his stuff
Nat is largest 3L.com holder in the world..as i know he owns more than 1000 3L.com's..I sold few to him many years ago..and he is not accept offers less than $100k for his names..and he has regular sales like this at $235k, that's why i'm telling each time here not to sell any 3L.com less than $100k not matter which letters..for any even mid. level company that is not money, it is all about you, what you are asking. Sure if you have only few domains in your portfolio and you need money you can sell it even for $20k as we see here some reports.

You see, it's one thing when you have 1000 names and getting few offers every day, then you can afford to be picky. But most people only have few LLL.coms and have different goals/situations. Someone who just flipping this name, bought for $20K, sold for $30K will be happy making extra cash just few months after.

Sure this happens with most of us. But i thing if you want to have real profit in 6-7 figures and more you need to make domaining your hobby and have very big patience together with experience for sure..there not too much people for whom domaining is main income in life, sure except if you are for example student from low cost living country and for the first time this money will be OK for you.
For me main problem in really premium domains is not to sell, but develop this owned names, as in this case you can have jack pot, but this is very diffucult for domainers to develop their names into sites especially which can generate profit, in this case they can have much more profit and immideately without waiting low-ball offers, etc which finally will be accepted..

For that reason i dont like auctions..or at least if you choose auction set reasonable reserve met price which meet your price expectations..

I believe the seller accepted the best offer privately.

.
Prices are low now maybe because sellers need cash or just temporary lull. Fundamentally, no reason for price reduction and the buyers are the only winners in these sales. LLL dot coms are still bullish IMO.
