We need this one too guys :)

This guide will also help LLLL.com holders to understand more the value of their 4 letters .com based on how expensive the similar 3 letters .com are.

From:

http://3character.com/priceguide.html

Pricing Guide for 3-Letter (Composed Of Letters Only) Domains:

Current Observed Minimum Wholesale Price (regardless of letter combo) as of February 1, 2008:

3-Letter .com - $6700 (+ $300 since January 1, 2008 report)

But I consider their guide a bit old since they are not taking in consideration the emergenging countries that appreciate other letters and as we have run a poll here several times lately, the majority of people consider the letters U
and W to be Premium letters.

Let`s have a look at some recent LLL.com sales as reported from NameBio.com :

HSZ.com sale at $71k proof again that current CHIPS LLL.com floor price is $70k and above.
Non CHIPS floor price is not stable at the moment..but definetely it is not less than $20k

I'm a bit surprised, prices for of non-chip LLL.com went down from closer to $30K to $20K and even less for couple names recently sold at NameJet.

xvv.com 18,800 USD 2016-01-06 NameJet
qvj.com 17,600 USD 2016-01-05 NameJet

Chips looking good though, last 2 sales were over $70K.
More data would be appreciated.

NameJet:

blt.com $65,500 (jinmi.com)

this auction was interesting in that Michael Berkens was the second bidder. it seems the addiction to domains is too strong :).

he keeps up to this word also after stating that is was not selling any LLL.com for less than $100k, so $60k seems a good price to buy.

Thanks for sharing.
As i see there is "i" in letters, so this name is not so called "CHIPS" and most interesting part that buyer is CHINESE company which as we hear from all domainers here not like "i"..so never sell your 3L.com cheap, no matter which letters..For me and I will repeate it always floor for ANY 3L is $100k, no matter which letters.

Yeah, I've said it numerous times, the whole CHIPS thing is not relevant with LLL.com names, because they are so short and can have 100's of acronyms, vowel or n vowel, it makes no difference, big companies in Australia, UK, Europe and the US love vowels

I = Industries or International
E = Enterprises, Electrics, Electronics etc
A = Association etc
O = Organization etc

agree. domainers overlook the position of letters also. I is very used in the last position for Inc/Incorporated. G in the last position is great for Group which are some of the buyers willing to spend more money. F as last letter is many times used for Financial or Fund.

BTW gilescoley where was BGI sold?
