We need this one too guys :)

This guide will also help LLLL.com holders to understand more the value of their 4 letters .com based on how expensive the similar 3 letters .com are.

From:

http://3character.com/priceguide.html

Pricing Guide for 3-Letter (Composed Of Letters Only) Domains:

Current Observed Minimum Wholesale Price (regardless of letter combo) as of February 1, 2008:

3-Letter .com - $6700 (+ $300 since January 1, 2008 report)

But I consider their guide a bit old since they are not taking in consideration the emergenging countries that appreciate other letters and as we have run a poll here several times lately, the majority of people consider the letters U
and W to be Premium letters.

Let`s have a look at some recent LLL.com sales as reported from NameBio.com :

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
XFU.com seems to have been sold by Aron Meystedt to the same Chinese domainer as UEY.com (with fake whois info AFAIK) in July after buying it on Flippa for $12300 in 2015. One of the few hundreds of LLL.com domains from Marchex Portfolio bought by Original.com/Yonotan Belousov in 2011.

Going to auction on NameJet...

NameJet:

after almost a year of being put for sale it finally sold
laa.com $35,700 (Andrea Sabatini/QLQ.com)

I've confirmed with NameJet that neither LAA.com or ASZ.com sold as listed. Which makes sense, because these are stolen domains that an Algerian has been peddling for years.

NameBio removed them both.

how's that? I do not have access to my DB but the domain was listed with QLQ.com/Andrea Sabatini's name and within a block of other domains from them...

They were not sold via NameJet. Any subsequent sale was private. And ASZ returned to the Algerian, who has been peddling it on NamePros, Flippa, GoDaddy, private brokers etc. He still controls it, the current WHOIS is fake. More about this guy.

I wonder why NameJet allows this one to be auctioned if they are aware of its history.

NameJet is aware. If they choose to ignore the warning, that's because the domain has been laundered via a sale. But that won't make it clean.

That potentially makes them legally liable as well.

Not every stolen domain can be retrieved, unfortunately. In the course of 15 years I've seen many being resold, after a couple of flips noone can remember.

ASZ.com is being marketed by BrandIt, former Igloo...

NameJet:

bef.com $39,000 after meeting reserve. Buyer CyberRep

Flippa:

FNE.com seems to have been sold by BIN for $26,000 after several unsuccessful auctions.
https://flippa.com/auctions/8975808/bids

Strangely, the WHOIS for the domain shows James Booth as the owner, but the seller on Flippa is Daniel Errecart from DomainHoldings. Possibly a brokered sale.

ohh, NameJet seems to have silently corrected this "mistake". fortunately I was able to take a snapshot because otherwise it would be business as usual.

two questions arise from this:
1) a bidder seems to have made an incorrect bid. but $500k? did it mean to put $5k? it seems it was a typing error merging the minimum bid of $69 plus another of maybe $500 or $5000.
2) why did NameJet accepted this bid when the reserve was bellow or at $25k? it was placed on 2017-09-10 so the reserve was well known to NameJet way before the auction started so the bid should have been limited to the reserve between 10k and 25k. why was it accepted in full?

If I bought a LLL.com domain from a company like uniregistry ,all things go great with escrow and transfer ,then I get an email that the domain was stolen ,is the broker responsible for getting my money back.

It means king in Spanish right ? Quite brandable.
Should have sold for 6 figures imo, but this is an inefficient market :xf.smile:

Yes. King. Its sounds better with the article imho as a name with el or del included. But its 3L. Great buy. Reina is Queen, but a 5char.
