I remember when i shared the top and rear of a food shop for $20 a week and the shop gave us all the food on a friday they couldn't keep to sell the following week , roast beef rolls, pies, salads .... etc , and no neighbors meant no complaints about loud music !

I remember my first album I bought, on vinyl, was ABBA's "Voulez-Vous"
(I'm not ashamed to say it-they were a great band. I put them right up
there with Genesis and Led Zeppelin).
I've got to know mis_chiff, did you mean you actually met ABBA in person
in Sweden? Did you talk to them much? If so I'm impressed. :tu:

Yep, in person - but not in Sweden
In Pefferlaw Ont it was mid-late 70's if I remember correctly.

I didn't really know "who" they were till years later. I just thought
they were your everyday band :red:

sorry to say i still only have a tape deck (no working radio) in my 1986 highace van

find some good tapes for cheap sometimes , i saw abba at a free concert in about 1978 at the melbourne myer music bowl , it was a paid concert, but it was outdoors and there was no fencing .... so you just had to sit back a bit further than the people who had paid
