I remember when i shared the top and rear of a food shop for $20 a week and the shop gave us all the food on a friday they couldn't keep to sell the following week , roast beef rolls, pies, salads .... etc , and no neighbors meant no complaints about loud music !

I'm not as old as some of you guys... but I remember playing Playstation and thinking "Wow!! The graphics in this game looks REAL!"

I remember when my parents rented my first video game. Atari, back in 1980.
Even then at a young age I said to myself...The graphics have to get better than this! :lol:

but i do remember explaining why the internet was cool to my peers in high school - and having barely anyone believe me. im only 26 years old.. so even when i graduated in 2001 (my 2nd senior year), the internet still wasnt mainstream and barely anybody my age used it.

furthermore, i remember being stoned out of my brain every day of week... which is where the 2nd senior year came into play.

also remember taking a class in high school called simply "internet".... ahahhahaha

got thrown out within a month. it was too hard to refrain from being a smartass when your teacher spoke about the internet using a textbook.

I remember when gas was $0.79 a gallon

I remember when gas at my local station was 29.9 cents a gallon. (I was too young to drive at the time!) I also remember my family traveling through Detroit, where gas was 19.9 cents a gallon (since they want everybody to buy cars).

I remember a college buddy telling me about something called ARPAnet, where you could communicate with other people through computers. Didn't sound like anything I'd ever get involved in. (Now they call it "the internet".)

i remember going ac/dc concert in 1980 and seeing a dude throw a full bottle of beer at a cop on a horse .... it knocked him flat on his back !! then the dude turned around and saw 10 other cops on horse's .... he is the quickest sprinter i have ever seen , forget carl lewis , ben johnson and the rest of them , this guy had 10 cops on horse's chasing him and he was winning ..... because he knew what would happen when they caught him !!!!! ..... i think he is still running

I remember when I was in high school our bus driver would play
cassette tapes (yes, I do remember music on cassettes) that
students would bring for her to play while we were going home.
One time, and I kid you not, several more times after that it was
AC/DC's "Back in Black" album that was coming out of those
speakers at the front of the bus. I still remember we were going
along the road with songs like "Hells Bells" playing. A great way
to finish a school day.
